My hair is naturally a dark blonde or light brown, about 9 monthes ago i dyed my hair dark brown, and right now im back to having light brown hair with blonde highlights (i had it redone in august) Anyways, im getting it redone again at the end of November, and i want to dye my whole head the lightest shade possible, without having to have to redone every 6 weeks. Do you know what this shade would be ?

Ooh. Something I'm good at answering to. :]
I have dyed my hair so many times... Hm. I would say you would have lots of choices, as it is pretty light right now. You could probably get an outcome of any blonde-ish colour. I used to have my hair light-brown with blonde highlights & I got it dyed black. Almost any colour would be possible for you to achieve, although I wouldn't go too dark since you don't want to get it re-dyed too often. I'd probably go with a meduim blonde colour. Hope I was some help. :] |

In my opinion you can dye your hair any color (as long as it goes good with your face and complex and such) that you want to. It just depends on the type of dye. Some chemical dyes can leave a green tint to your hair. Have you ever noticed when some people dye their hair ash brown and they get in a certian light it has that tint to it? I know a tomato trick to get rid of it though
![]() If you're going to get it professionally done, you can get henna. But be warned, they don't come out. There are chemical dyes (as mentioned above) which can be permanent. And then there are metallic dyes. I think this should be something you should take up with a professional. They be able to better tell you what to get based on your hair type, hair products you're using, color changes, etc. |

alright thankkkks so much (:
+my skin is actually pretty pale. i noticed when i dyed my hair dark brown, while it was getting lighter over the months, it turned into a copperish colour. but i think the medium blonde is cute, illl probably end up getting it done that colour. |

Well, to get it lighter, you have to bleach it. And if you bleach it, your roots will pop out soon. SO.. the best thing to do would be just go a VERY slight shade lighter. :/ That's all I can say. Or you can buy like those root updaters (or whatever you call them) and just put those in.

[size=1]you wouldnt have to bleach your hair.
the only reason that bleaching would be needed is if your hair was dark & you were wanting to get it very light. my hair used to be black with light blonde[almost white] on the top. and before she put the black on, she put the blone on, naturally. but my hair was a prety dark brown before i even went to get it done. the person who dyes her hair could most certainly dye a medium shade of blonde with the colour her hair is now. ![]() |

ahhh, you're so lucky. i wish i was allowed to dye my hair. it's a 'naturally beautiful color.' it's a red, but it's starting to get darker, which is good for me. i want it to be brown. but when i'm in the sunlight it shines as blonde. idk, my hair is odd.

^^ Just an off subject question but why aren't you allowed to dye your hair? You mentioned it in another hair topic too. It made me curious, hah.
