Yeah... I heard about this on VH1. I think it's pretty stupid. I mean, if the Killers try to start a rival with Green Day I think Green Day will have the upper hand because they've been around longer, and in my opinion would have more fans behind them.

though Bush IS stupid, I found Billie-joe to be immature about the whole America thing. Sometimes I do FEEL America is stupid. There are times, though, when you are kind of glad you live in a prosper country. bah I dislike both bands anyways.

Canaer or AIDs? Please. If people continue to get "fired up" about that as often as they do, it will just become even more cliched and that isn't any good for anyone. Now, I don't necessarily think he should bother to be offended, but I agree with the point about the European children screaming along. Really, the US does a pretty damn good job of getting the rest of the world to hate it on its own. Green Day is really just fairly laughable, though. Considering their mainstream success, that whole album is pretty ironic. |

I don't like Green Day, period, and I kind of agree with what he said in the article. I don't know about the Killer's album being more patriotic though, but at least it sounds better. |
