LMAO
OKAY.
YES OMG.

I saw it last night.
FUCKINGAMAZING.

I love when they just stand there.
And then theres that one guy left.
And Borat was chasing him with the rubber fist!
I laughed so hard!
Oh wooow.
It was so racist. It was awesome.

And then with the roaches that were Jews.
"How much should we give them?"
And they just throw money at them!

I can't wait till it comes on DVD.
Yeah here in the States its rated R.
I mean comeon.
You see penis. And balls.
Fat man balls.

Amazing.

:o that was the sexiest part though.
;)

I think the only part that was scripted was in the hosue of the jews with that elderly couple.

I bet even when Borat tries to kidnap Pamela Anderson that was so not scripted.

Eh, even though it's not playing many places here I don't think I'm going to see. I've heard some of his stuff, but I've never been a fan or anything.

laugh.gif I know! I loved this movie...so freaking funny. There was like one minute in the entire movie where no one laughed due to it being "serious", but the rest of the movie was hilarious!

oh yeah this movie was soo funny intense. yet sad at the same time. the one part that made me laugh so hard was when his friend left him and he was all alone and all he had left was his bag and a chicken in it. well like the scene when hes all upset and you totally forget about the chicken which is still in the bag. hes walking all alone and he gets frustrated and he throws the bag on the ground and all you hear is BaCoCk! hahaha! i was laughing sooo hard at that part it was so random haha.

yeah the 69er was suuuuuuuuper disturbing...and when he was showing pictures of his son...wow. the first picture it showed i turned to my friend saying wow he has a hawt son then the next was all like AHH! my eyes! yepp./..so im done spoiling =x

Oh, man. I want to see this very badly. I've been watching a ton of trailers, small excerpts, and Borat/Ali G videos on YouTube.

Cohen is awesome, really.

Have any of you watched the episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart where Cohen comes on as Borat. So hilarious! XD.gif

Yeah, there was a lawsuit due to this movie. I thought it was funny that Kazakstan put out ads about how great of a place it was and they had some British guy as the voice of the commercial. Yeah, I haven't seen this and probably won't unless I get bored one day and it's on TV. It brought in more money in it's second week than it's first and they might do a second one mellow.gif

I saw it yesterday, and I honestly didn't like it all that much. Yeah, there were hilarious parts ("what up vanilla face?") and I could definitely see why others thought it was off-the-wall hilarious, but I felt really bored a lot of the time. It's not that I'm offended, but it was just really really stupid humor. A lot of poeple said that he deals with a ton of "taboo" things, but when those things were addressed, I just kind of went "So? Big deal."

The is a fine line between being funny and being downright disrespectful. This movie crossed that line.

I kicked some guy in the back of the head for laughing at the "running of the jew scene."

I had a feeling there was going to be a post about this movie.

Yeah well I just watched it recently as well. The movie made me laugh hard overall, but the ending got me disappointed. I just hate when good movies have bad endings.

And I'll have to mention that "one scene" and when I say that "one scene" you guys should know what I'm talking about. I don't even have to say anymore. But yeah, that "one scene" scarred my mind for the whole night. (Obviously I'm talking about the wrestling scene). I think they overdid that even though it was really funny. To the point where most of our minds were just like "okay....that's way too hardcore" hahaha I don't know.

It's a habit for me nowadays to quote Borat. My friend Jessie and I always say "VELLY NAICE!" and we go up to random people and say "Hey your shirt is black........ NAT!!!!"

Its good that they released DVD! heck yes!

The movie is funny, and I dont get the people who cant take a joke/this movie, for me if a person didnt laugh at least 3 times, it means he/she has no humor.

It's not the best movie but its hilariously crazy.

You can not be serious? It's a comedy that is challenging our culture, and the cultures of other people: taboo things will present. You would either have to be a coward, a dolt, or an extremist to think that this film crossed any serious lines. It was a joke. Nothing about it was particularly penetrating, especially not the feigned antisemitism.

And, more seriously, even if someone found humor in something you found as disrespectful, physically harming them because of such is ridiculous. You can't justify that, you just can't. If anyone crossed any lines it was you. As if it's alright to kick people, but not alright to joke about kicking people. Douche bag.
