ok. anyway yes they do throw up cuz when the fetus is developing inside the lady their body instinctively thinks it's some sort of parasite and tries to get rid of it. that's why they throw up.

^ are you sure because isnt the body supposed to be ready for pregnancy? why would it mistake a fetus for a parasite.

but that does make sense..

It's called morning sickness and not all women have it.

QUOTE
Morning sickness, also called "nausea and vomiting of pregnancy" (NVP) or pregnancy sickness, affects between 50 and 95 percent of all pregnant women.

that is completely and totally false. and it doesn't make sense either! the uterus is not connected to the gasointestinal system. even if the woman threw up her entire stomach contents, she wouldn't ever be able to get rid of the baby. where the hell did you get this?

morning sickness' cause is still slightly unkown. however, many people believe that heighten amounts of hormones during pregnancies can cause weakening of muscles including the stomach's. also, when you're pregnant, you're sense of smell, taste, and appetite changes. something that's really strong that it can trigger the gag reflex.

^ Yeah, it has to do with hormones. Your body isn't trying to rid it's self of the baby, not matter what stage of pregnancy you're in. I'm not in Child Development for nothing.

Yea thats what they refer to as "morning sickness"

Most can eat saltine crackers or something else like that to make them feel better, since its a really light food and easy to digest.

It depends on the school you go to. Here, we cover a lot of stuff. The good and the bad from conception to about 5 years of age. We don't have any homework (classwork, though, and projects) and no tests or quizes. But I really like the class, you learn some good info.

That's true. My friend is 7 months pregnant and never had morning sickness. She even had her period into 2nd or was it 3rd month (unsure) of her pregnacy.

It's called Morning Sickness. Not all pregnant women get it. If they do experience they usually only get it earlier on during their pregnancy. Some women are different and may experience it up until birth. But that's quite rare.

I don't believe you can have your period if you are pregnant.

Um, you can. That's why some women don't even know they are pregnant. Ask your doctor. Not all women are the same =) FYI.

Well... maybe not "period", but she bleeds. It's been said that women who bleeds a little in early pregnancy have an easier time delivering.
