so like i have a concert for band in an hour and 10 minutes and i'm nervous as heckkkk. i've had one before last year but ughhhh. i can't memorize all the notes to the stupid song so it's frustrating me.

anyways, to have something to talk about in this topic, what have you done that made you super nervous even though you've done it before?

make sense? :|
i'm kind of in a hurry.
oh btw, i'm sorry if there's already a topic this this. pinch.gif

Public speaking isnt that bad. Being on stage or being a speaker should give you confident. Just think of that way. You'll get used to the situation. I had done it before. A lot, so i'm cool with it.

I always do fine when I am performing or giving a speech in front of the class, but auditions always get to my head. I haven't had a reallyreally good audition in years :(

Make a speech in speech class. I was pathetic and I let my nerves totally get to me. Rawr. Oh well. I got an 80, which is impressive since everyone else got low 70's.

public speaking is fine for me, as long as i'm talking to people i know. like in order for me to not be nervous, 50% of the people i'm talking to have to be some friends/people i know. pinch.gif

i just pick a spot in the room and just talk to it. i'm fine with presenting on stuff even when i don't know the people, but when i don't know wtf i'm talking about like global income distribution and my group just gives me the presentation like 5 min before.. then i'm dead nervous and just read off the paper.. which is bad pinch.gif

but like concerts and stuff i'm not nervous i just think i'm playing in the classroom or at home and just relax.. and if u're not the only one playing and you loose ur spot..fake it. that's what my friend did during our concerts and she stunk at the flute but it was funny lol. relax. its just a concert you'll be done with it soon and when its done you won't have to worry about it =] its not life or death you'll be fine! break a leg.

Public speaking is a biggie for me.
I need to take speech for my degree, and I've been putting it off for four semesters.

It's so bad I wouldn't page people at work over the intercom.

ME TOO. Especially music festival adjudications. I've practiced the scales and the pieces just about five bajillion times, but when I get up there, I feel really nervous, and I start shaking. pinch.gif This one time I was shaking so badly I messed up on my scales, but the judge was really nice and let me off. Ackkkk.
