Are you friends with anyone thats a cheerleader?
If so go ask her for help, ask her if she can help you out with try outs and what you need to do. Every school is more than likely different, so your best bet is to go up to one of the cheerleaders there and ask for help. And if your to shy to do that or anything, then your probably not that cut out to be a cheerleader.

Just saying; i can't understand what you're saying except it's something about pre-cheerleading because your post is all basically one sentence. it just doesn't make sense to me.

i guess i can say that i agree with kimi. you should go to cheerleading camp before you try out. it'll give you more experience.

You should know:

Correct arm positions such as:

High V's
Low V's
T's
Touchdown's
Low Touchdown's
Tabletops
Half T's

They are looking for good jumps as well:
Good russians (toe-touches)
Side Hurdler
Front Hurdler
Pike Jump
Spread Eagle
Double 9

I'm not sure how touch you are trying out for but some squads require
-back and front handspring
-roundoff backhandspring
-cartwheel
-some sort of tumbling skill
-doing a split always helps, but don't do one unless you are really good at it.
they don't wanna see you struggle to do a split.
If you atleast can do a cartwheel then good.

Know a little about stunts...atleast figure out if you will be a flyer or base.
Flyers are smaller, short, light.
Stunts, usually are tall and strong enough to hold the girls up.
Figure out the roles of bases, front spotter, and back spotters.
Also just kinda get familiar with the different kind of stunts:
Liberties, Basket tosses, elevators, and so on...

For the chants and cheers you will learn there...
Just when in doubt, SMILE. they want you to be energetic.
Just try to stand out, be loud, lift your eyebrows a nd have facial expressions.
When in doubt have a cheesey smile...that's what they are looking for believe it or not.
Make sure your moves are sharp, crisp, and clean.
Even in the dances too...watch Bring it On, seriously.
It'll show you how crisp your moves need to be......

just smile....please. that's so important.
if you don't get anything else, they really are looking for your positive happy attitude.

=MOVED TO SPORTS=

pm me if you need any more help! good luck!
i cheerleaded for about 3 years, and went to nationals and all.
t'was fun =)
