Yeah, you still have flood control, but less.
For regular members, it's 30 seconds. For official members, it's around 15. I think.

You dont have flood control for replying, I believe.
But any search related stuff, you probably have about 15 seconds (as do all staff).

Actually, it does state in the Become an Official Member thread that:

Official Members will also have the capacity of editing their own topic titles and descriptions and bypass flood control.

This isn't accurate. Becoming an Official Member seems to only lessen the amount of flood control time.

Having said that, there isn't anything we can do about it since I think (and admittedly, I am very much a novice of the subject) it has do to with the coding of the site, which the majority of us have no control over.

^Someone will, just have to find someone that can.

But yea there isn't anyway to change it, don't feel to bad. Staff have to deal with it as well.
