I was wondering if anyone else has low self esteem. I feel like the only one at my school. Everyones so happy about how they look except for me. -.-

all thats needed is to know your not the only one.

just talk to a friend. someone u trust.
and you'll soon find out your not the only one with low self esteem.

I have low self-esteem. I just try to hide it. I do things that make me happy to forget about everything.
Just remember that you look like doesn't matter. It's your personality that counts.

while I just walk in the back slowly.

Great friends I know.

I hate the way I look thats probally why im so depressed and have low self esteem, but seing a therapist wont help at all.

Believe it or not, hearing "I FEEL LIKE SHIT" everyday from someone is pretty damn annoying. I hate to say this, but unless you get over the fact that you aren't perfect, your low self esteem isn't going anywhere.

hey tymel maybe you should try writing a list of all the things good about you. and when you feel bad about yourself just remind yourself of all the good things about you.

or maybe just instead of saying 'i feel like shit' to a friend, pull them aside and say something like, 'i have a problem, can i talk to you about it?'
or something. that would probably get them to listen more than just saying. i feel like shit.

I got this from Perks of Being a Wallflower, when you're having a terrible week, just try to remember the last time you had a terrific week so you can give yourself the hope of being able to get through the week.

But really it seems like you're basing your self-esteem on other people's self-esteem. I wonder if they had the lowest self-esteem, what would you feel? Lucky? happy? Just don't show any hint of low self-esteem. It doesn't really matter if someone from Africa is starving or a girl's bf cheated on her with her mother. It doesn't change the fact that you're either happy or upset. Just live life. Live life.

I'm really going to give real input. You just need to come around and realize that you aren't the ugliest guy out there. Okay, find a guy right...ugly, loner, fat, nonathletic type. Then set him as the default rock bottom. Every time you're feeling bad or something, go to someone who really wants you. Like I know you can find people who feel like you. AKA girl who thinks shes really ugly, but she isn't really that ugly...get it?

I used to have a real low self esteem. I used to beat myslef up for it all the time...no seriously. My parents didn't know until they came into the bathroom and saw the blood flowing from my nose. In fact no one know. I didn't tell anyone till it was over. I hated the way i looked, acted, how I treated people, and how no matter what I did everything in me told me that I would fail at everything I would try. I gave up so much because of it. I was a shell with few friends and the hate for my family was only rivaled by the hate for myself. I was 12 when I tried to kill myself...12! How the f**k does a twelve year old het the idea to try and kill himself. My parents took me to a shrink and put me on pills. I stopped going and stoped taking the pills. I couldn't stand the thought of a perfect old lady whos rich father put her through colledge and never went through half the shit others have gone through trying to tell me it was all going to be ok, and then shoving pills down my throat. So I never went to the shrink again. I remained this way until I was almost 14. I said all this not to get pity or take the spot light of the person who asked the question but to show that there is hope. I was in a bad way, but I made it through, not unscarred but I am here none the less. My way out was Jesus (though I am not longer a devote christian like I used to be) but it might be something different for you. But I will say this about christianity, even you don't believe search around for a church. If you find the right one with the right people it will change your life. It wasn't the thought of Jesus that started me on the path that lead me out of the darkness, but the love and support that I recieved from my youth group. For once in my life I felt that someone cared if I were to leave this world. I went from having almost no friends to having a whole youth group long before I was christian. So even if God doesn't appeal to you some fo the people that follow him might. Hint: Stay away from big churches, go to a more poor church. You will find the real christians there instead of those judgeing pricks that look down on yuou because you are different. Find a church that wants to help you in what way you need, not shove a bible down your throat. Find the church that if then can do nothing else, they will support you and love no matter what you chose. They are hard to find, but there are churches out there like that. Not all devote christians are bad.

A youth group is kind of like church for teenagers. Its more about having fun then being real devote unless you are a teen leader. Its great if you find the right people. Anyway, if you want if you have no one to talk to and your just bored you can aim me. I am not all that fun, but its better then having no one to talk to when you feel down. Anyway, my aim is Tairyoku no Tora.
I know its a weird screen name. It means Strength of Tiger. I have it because Tigers are always confident and believe in there abilities. They are strong bodied, but more importantly strong willed.
