LA. Because I checked Wikipedia, haha. biggrin.gif

LA is 11.1% Asian. NYC is only 10%.

It suprised me because NY has 2 Chinatowns.. Flushing and Chinatown.
I don't know about LA though 'cause I've never been there. mellow.gif

There's a chinatown in flushing? I thought there was only koreatown .. because everytime I go there, all I see is korean stores .. I rarely see a chinese store .. maybe its on the other side? Iono

No, Flushing is considered the second Chinatown.
Flushing is for Mandarin people and Chinatown (Manhattan) is for Cantonese people. Or at least that's what everyone says. mellow.gif

Where's Koreatown? Near College Point/Northern?

Even more than Asia?

Hmm, yeah. One miscalculation. New York City has about two times as many people as LA does, so it's actually New York. mellow.gif

I believe NYC has about 8,000,000 people and LA has about 4,000,000.
So that's 800,000 for NYC and 450,000 for LA.

Sorry for the confusion guys. pinch.gif

Even though it was already given away...

I always thought L.A. had more Asians, considering it's the west coast, where most Asians immigrated to.

It's kind of like a place you stumble into, not somewhere you go looking for...at least for me. Whenever I go looking for it I get lost. I don't think it's that big anyway, one of those "if you blink you'll miss it" places.

According to my significant other who recently went to LA, he didn't see many Asian people if at all and he drive around in a fancy car with his friends all over the place.

I would think that LA has more Asians, but NY's got a ton too. Where I live (Flushing; please don't stalk me XD), I call it a miniature Chinatown because there are so many Asians everywhere.

And yes. BUBBLE TEA HERE IS THE BEST. Woot Quickly's and TenRen!

I'm in L.A

There are so many Asians in SOCAL. They're everywhere.

I don’t know about New York. Is New York a city too? I don’t know.
If so, you shouldn’t compare a city and a state. o__o

New York City: the 5 boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island.
It has two times as many people as LA.

I think the topic starter is asking us to compare the cities because he states it in the title. And he says "nyc" in his first post.
