So there's this guy. I like him. A lot. Over the summer, we talked over the internet quite a bit, and he had always been nice to me at school. Our first day back, he comes running up to me, and he's smiling and we talked for a while, and when I walked by him the next day he followed me. It was adorable. So then I got set to ask him to Homecoming. All of a sudden, though, he starts ignoring me. I waved to him in the hallway and he turned around and walked away. He wouldn't talk to me or even look at me. I'm sure my ex has something to do with this, but I can't just accuse him of poisoning this guy's mind. Since the beginning of the school year he's just been ignoring me, like I don't exist. Pardon ye olde French, but WHAT THE FUCKETH???
I seriously have no idea what's going on. Any ideas? |

well.. I mean..
 The only thing I can think of for you to do is to talk to him. Even if he is avoiding you, talk to him online or try to get his attention and say it's important. You'd never know just by assuming.

^Actually, my ex hates me, which is why I suspect that he has something to do with this. I didn't tell anyone that I was planning to ask him to homecoming, so I really have no idea what's going on.

I was going to say maybe he wants space..not that you even hinted on not giving him space..I don't know ..educated guess?
Anyways if your ex does have something to do with it, why not just ask the boy about it. Confirm that whatever bullshit your ex says is false. btw your ex needs to move on. |

^Thanks for the advice, and I know that my ex needs to move on. I had to block him from every possible way of virtual communication because he wouldn't stop harrassing me. He sent me a message on myspace just to tell me that nobody cares what I have to say and that I'm a bimbo.

Hmm. Well, to start off, I'm Melissa, and I think you seem like a realllly cool person. And I just wanted to say that... so yeah
 ANYWAY, boys are stupid. It probably was his ex, but on the other hand, he may not even realize what he's doing. They tend to have brain flatulations quite often. Try eing super sweet to him and make him feel bad like, "So did I miss the memo? Are we just not going to talk anymore or something?" or something like that. If he seems a bit guilty, maybe you'll be able to tell if his ex had something to do with it, or if he's just stupid. Good luck! |
