I think it can look really good, if it's balanced right. Like tight on top and loose on bottom or the opposite. I've seen some amazing hip hop fashion, and horrible as well.

"Hip-hop fashion"? You mean Ecko, Roca Wear, that type of stuff, right?

I dunno. I don't really like it. I think the girls' clothes are too shiny with gold letters and stuff. And the guys' clothes are sometimes a little too baggy. I don't like the girls' clothes, but the guys' clothes can be ok sometimes.

But then again, I'm not really the type of person who listens to hip-hop so.. mellow.gif

Well, I think it looks okay. But only to a certain point. If it's those tops or shirts with the ultra shiny lettering or rhinestones splattered everywhere, I can't stand it. However, if it's not too over-the-top and flashy, it can look good.

agreed. too much sparkles and whatnot to me is kinda too much and a bit blink.gif , but some clothes i have seen that look good, and if its well balanced and said before it'll look good, if it isn't worn right then no pinch.gif

If you don't overdo it, then fine. But I dislike it when people are walking around flashing brands right and left with shiny stuff, glittery embelishments, and what have you.

I think Baby Phat stuff is over embellished.

Of the hip hop brands, I only own an Ecko jacket.
The jackets are nice.

Yeeeeah, some guys pants are saggd way too low. I saw guys at the mall that had these like REALLY long shirts and their pants were at their knees. Usually they sell those "hip-hop" type clothes in like outfits but you just have to buy them separately right? Like at d.e.m.o. they do so I think if you actually go with the entire outfit then yeah, it's pretty cool. thumbsup.gif For girls.. most of the girls that wear those type of outfits wear them right. The really skanky outfits for girls are pretty ugly though.

As a general rule, I don't like it. But sometimes it looks really nice on certain people, but it takes a lot to pull it off.

I don't like the bagginess and how I can see people's boxers. I don't need a peek at your undies, dude. Just no thanks.
I also don't like how people at my school not only wear extremely baggy pants/shirts but hella long chains. >.> Don't really need it in school. Someone might wanna shoot you.

Haha. I completely agree. But I hate it how girls at my school tie their pants on the bottom to make it puff. It's annoying.

some people can pull it off, but some are just blah.

i really HATE the grills thing. it looks so disgusting && stupid on people.

i also hate the whole sagging jeans thing. ugh. that`s just unattractive, no matter who you are.

i agree with whoever said that baby phat is over embellished.

i agree with the whole fake gold thing. ugh. talk about being over the top. completely repulsive.

Uhm, I wouldn't exactly know. What follows under this 'hip hop fashion?'

I mean if your talking about what I see, such as pants falling off and showing half their ass, then no. I can't stand it.

wow you guys are funny how you have no clue what your talking about..how you judge people based on how baggy their pants are..you know how you go to the mall and all the "hip hop" kids look at you funny with you a&f and hot topic and whatnot..yea thats the same way your looking at them..

anyways to answer the question:

how can you say the gold lettering is ugly..what if the girl looks totally hot in it..

i personally like URBAN clothing though..i just dont think you should ever wear a completely matching outfit..
