how do u get the words in the pictures to links? [like here] is it done in imageready? image slicing html? anyone know of any tutorials?

Make them in the picure then image slice with imageready. You can find slicing tutorials through google :) or http://good-tutorials.com

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhkay.i understand. i know how to make an html layout! i just was unsure about a div. u just simply place them on the html code. is their a script that gives you the code to put the other html code in? did that last question make scence? lol... thnks :D

kinda? What you do is you make the links in an image program. And attach them to an image. Then you image slice. (I gave you links where to find tutorials on it) Once you image slice, whatever program you use (I suggest imageready) it will generate a code for you. Thats the html code you will use.

After you slice it will give you a folder w/ images and the code. You will then upload all the images and place their urls in the code.

Then you can put the code in a div to position the image or whatever. (Thats normal div coding)

ya i got all of that. but isnt their another code u have to put all of that in when ur putting it in your about me or w/e on myspace. ..hmm i hope this is making scence sorry

For the links? No the image code you get and after you edit it like I told you , thats what you put in about me or I'd like to meet. Wherever you put your divs.

Because I'm stupid, I don't get how that generating a file thing works. So you can always image slice, but instead of saving as a file, just take the co-ordinates and put it into your own image slice code in your 'about me' section like this:

If she uses the above code she doesn't need to slice. Slicing would be a waste of time because when you slice they cut the images in parts. Yup. To get coordinates I believe you can use paint? But you can use imageready but slicing would be pointless.

^ *dumb again* You click on the slice tool to create the shape around the text you want to link, to get the co-ordinates, using ImageReady. I don't know about Paint, but couldn't do it in regular Photoshop...I don't think. I can't remember. But yeah, for dummies like me, the above was easier.
