So, I just randomly put this here. Let the chips lie where they fall, right happy.gif

Anywho, I'm taking my senior pics nov 6 and they are really important to me and really stressing me out!!!!! mad.gif

The thing is, I don't know how to smile like on command. I look so gay its ridiculous!! I've gotten better at it (believe me I PRACTICE!!!) but its still far from good. I need advice! Anything!!! I'm so nervous about it, but maybe I'll be so excited I can't stop smiling, but maybe I'll be so nervous i'll just have that weird "i think i'm going to throw up" face. HELPPPPPP!

Hahahaha. sorry. I don't mean to be mean. But the "throw up" thing made me laugh.

Anyway, just keep a joke in mind. When you're looking at the camera, just think of something funny and let yourself smile naturally.

Man, my senior pics sucked. I can't smile on command either. I look so stupid lol. I'm gonna get them done by someone beside the school company because the pics came out terrible and they're wayyyy too expensive.

As far as your concern, I usually try to make friends with the camera man/woman before hand so I feel a little more relaxed. The dude who took my pictures this year was hilarious so I felt fine.

I really don't like the pictures taken by school companies. And yes, they are pretty expensive huh.
Once I get in high school, I'm taking over the senior picture business. boxing.gif

I can't smile on command either. On school pictures, I just don't smile at all.

My pictures this year are going to suck. When she told me to smile, my mouth kept twitching so I have a feeling i'm going to look like a retard. Greeeeeaaattttt.

Thanks Kristina. happy.gif *bows*

Ha ha the rubber duckies. Those are pretty lame in elementary and stuff, but in high school and middle school it seems so ridiculous to use those, I've seen people laugh at them.
Our photographers never used anything though.

Eh, I was cheesin' in all of my senior portraits, so don't worry about it, really. You're probably overthinking it. shrug.gif

The sad part is, is that they DO make me laugh (the rubber duckies). I laugh at how pathetic the photographers are. rolleyes.gif

And you, sir, are most definately welcome.

It helps when the woman taking your pic was extremely attractive.

^ That's what I'd recommend - it doesn't really work for me..but I always read it in magazines and stuff.

For some reason, when I'm commanded to smile, when I do, my cheeks shake. XD.gif

LOL they use ducks at ur high school laugh.gif when i was in high school i'd be smiling so long (forcing it for some time) that the picture would end up me smiling midway _dry.gif lol but seriously don't think of something to funny cause u may end up doing this XD.gif jkk just think of something that makes you happy and relax.. its just a picture =] when you take bad pictures u look back and laugh..i didn't smile with my senior picture i made a serious closed half smile. (i mean the picture i picked for the yearbook). don't worry bout it happy.gif you'll be fine!

I just make a stupid face and then laugh at myself. But of course, if the camera goes off too quickly, my bet is you wont be too happy with the results. Either think of a joke or don't smile at all. You can be all emo and glare into the camera...that looks cool! thumbsup.gif

Just imagine of how you want them to turn out, and try to look like that? Idk. I just cheese. It looks stupid, but hey. Very few can smile on command and pull it off.
