it seems like i have little (or sometimes big) periods when i feel quieter than usual, and it feels harder to talk to people or come up with things to talk about. does this ever happen to anyone else? anyone know a possible reason why it happens? and when it does, how do you cope?

i didnt know whether to put this in the boys locker or here but i wanted responses from guys and girls so yeah

I have the same things, too. I think it's normal. Everyone has days when they just feel quiet and such. It happens to everyone.

Usually, I just write. I love to write, and it helps a lot. That's usually how I cope. Ohh, and music happy.gif

Well it's pretty normal for me. I'm so quiet that I only have a few friends (like 3 XD) and I don't even get picked on for that.
I cope by writing, just like Synthetic.Love said, and also just blasting up my music and talking to some close friends.

I'm always quiet pinch.gif

I guess there are times when its worse, I just deal with it honestly. Its who I am. I suppose I could be more depressed at times, in which I only make myself worse since I caused it upon myself in the first place. -shrugs-

Just look at the brighter side of things, or find someone that really cares about your or someone you like a lot and just talk to them. They'll cheer you up I'm sure.

I think it's because you need some time to think.
It happens 1-3 times a week for me. But that's because I haven't been my normal outgoing self lately. sad.gif

I hang out with my random friends. They always make me crazy.
Sometimes, I just listen to some music or play sports.

This is pretty normal... Everyone has a little down time. I have found that the best thing to do is talk to people. Get yourself out of the gutter. Tell someone how you feel, hang out with some friends, go play some games, write about it, or talk to someone that luvs you *wink at you holly*. Whatever you do, do not keep it inside. Let it out. It will usually just make you feel worse in the end.

There was a period in my life when i was extremely quiet. I mean i would only talk to my brother. So one day we bought a poster for Aaron's room with the Pink Panther on it. It said "think pink". So now everytime i'm depressed i see the poster and i repeat to myself "think pink everything's gonna be ok, be happy etc"

Sometimes it doesn't work but some other times it works fantastically well! happy.gif
When I'm feeling down my brother sticks post-its all over the house with funny messages on them. So it makes me laugh.U could ask your sibilings or sb else to do the smae that my brother does.

You could also try writting as most people suggested, it's so healing sometimes. Listen to your music but try not to listen to songs that are depressing. Also watch your favourite movie or your favourite tv show. in general do things that make you smile thumbsup.gif

And think of all the people that make you smile. happy.gif

I hope I helped you a bit hug.gif
