You're on createBlog?! Options

As the rest of my Imaginative Writing "class" was taking forever to type up their poems and adding superfluous, tacky borders to them, I was on cB. The girl next to me saw that I was on here and said, "Whoa! I love createBlog! I go there all the time." I looked over at her and stared, then blinked. After an awkward pause (we rarely talk), I said, "Oh really?" and I suppose she goes there for layouts. I don't know.. I was just.. shocked. No one has EVER known what cB was around where I live. It was actually more of a weird thing than a strange thing, though. Did this ever happen to you? Do a lot of people that you don't know/talk to often go on it?

I actually found out that people did know about CB when a guy I know was using one of my layouts. I im-ed him and was like OMGG DUDEEEE THATS MY LAYOUTTTT! to which he laughed and said AWESOME!

lol I found out my friend Robin goes here a lot, we're not that close, but at rehearsal she was like, "Man, I was so upset today, CB was down, and I needed a new layout."
No one had any idea what she was talking about, except me, cuz i was like, "OMG YOU GO TO CB TOO!"

But I haven't met anyone that regularly posts in the forums. I mean, I think I know a handful that come here for layouts, but none actually post around.
Which I kinda like in a way, I feel CB is seperate from my friends and all.
I can come here and just chill, and not worry about my friends or enemies reading up on my posts. If that makes any sense, lol.

My freshman year, there was this girl in my race and ethnicity class and we were talking about blogging and she told me that she had recently given up xanga and wanted to know if I wanted a place to come for layouts. Ah, I kind of dislike it when people I know start to get on sites I really enjoy, they kind of kill it. I go on createblog all the time during my computer class but no one's ever heard of it or even cares enough to look at it. I know some of these people I use to be friends with are members here, they kind of annoy me because I catch them submitting copyrighted stuff all the time and it ends up getting accepted and I go back and fix it all. Rather annoying

Anyway there isn't anyone that actually posts around that lives in my town, Brenden lives about 2 hours away if that counts. People come for layouts though.

A LOT of people from school get their layouts from cB.

I remember one time I had this layout, and the screenshot had my picture.. and I got like 458475454 IMs saying "OMG! I SEE YOUR PICTURE ON CREATEBLOG!11!!!1ONEONEONE1!1!"

I've known a few people that have used Createblog for myspace layouts and are surprised to see me as one of the top 8s in the layout previews. It's quite funny actually... they're like "whoa, why are you Createblog's top friend?"

I used to know Julia (juliar). She was in my school in 6th grade, but then she went to private school.
I used to know Candice (CJ1) too. She was in 7th and 8th grade class. She went to a different high school. She doesn't come on cB anymore though..

i was in IT one day, and my friend was on a computer, and as i walked passed, i glanced over at her, and she was on cb, in one of the forums. i did a TOTAL double-take. it was funny.

and then, i noted down her username and searched her posts (she hasnt posted in foreveeeer, bu thad like 25 some odd), and she had made a thread in relationships asking about her friend's relationship issues with her boyfriend, and i was that boyfriend. it was odd.

my cousins intro'd me to cb cuz its where they used to get their layouts (they make their own now). then i decided to join the community. as for people i know, i've never seen a createblog layout on any of my friend's myspaces. but i think it would be rad to see people i knew using my layouts.

I've made...James and Monique join? That could be about it. And Monique didn't stick around long and she lives in California. So really just James.
Although sophomore year I accidentally caused my entire language arts class to join one day because we had the arcade back then, I was playing, and everyone else wanted to since pretty much all game sites are blocked at school. None of them ever came back, though, I don't think.

I was talking about createBlog at my church. And there's this guy comes up to me and goes like ":O you do createBlog too?"
And I was like "umm yeah o_o" and he goes like "OMG I DO CREATEBLOG TOO. I was a member there since July 2005!!!" and i was like "uhhh, great <_<;;;" this happened like february 2006. somewhere there hehe. and then he ask me what my username was and he was like "YOU'RE ANGEL-ROH WHO MAKES CREATEBLOG LAYOUTS TOO. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG" -_-;;; he was very loud....

now everytime at church, he calls me "HEY ANGEL-ROH!" -_-; i was like "uhh my names susan f3" -_-; he only remembers me by angel-roh T-T;;

I am glad that I don't have people from my school coming here. Or I am glad that I don't know about it. I think it makes me feel more open to new people.
