Oh sh*t it didnt start yet. i thought it did lol. i cant wait, i heard on the second episode of the season there is this new character called "the green arrow" and in the commercial lex has powers from zod lol close to my name = zed. cant wait i thought it already started.

Nevermind. *grumbles about stupid boys* Just kidding.  This should be good. I'm hoping for more Lois this season (of course, I'm always hoping for more Lois, less Lana). The more Lexie the better. I love Michael Rosenbaum, he's the perfect Lex. I'm still bummed that Pa Kent isn't around. Smallville just isn't the same without him. :( I haven't read any spoilers yet (which is weird for me). The fall season has just sort of crept up on me. |

Lana pisses me off so much. She's so pathetic and annoying. Blah.
Lois is hilarious. And Michael Rosenbaum is the PERFECT Lex. He does/did hell of a lot better than the guy from Superman Returns. I LOVED PAPA KENT! He was awesome. Maybe they'll resurrect him or something. :O |

Lana pisses me off too! UGHH hate lex!! he's just soo ugh i cant believe lana choose him over clark. yeah i hope clarks dad comes back too if he hadnt saved lana then his dad wouldnt have died and now lana is mad at him

You know... at first I read that as, "naah, Lex takes all these annoying craps."
Lex is Lex though. He's portrayed and written well. Lana is written horribly (Lana is NOT as annoying in the comics, although still annoying to a degree) and Kristin Kreuk can't emote to save her life. The episode when she died was such torture because we ALL knew she'd come right back. And like an ugly hairy wart, she did. |

yeah if Lana died then it would be ok cuz he knew she loved him and shit but noooo he just had to save her ughh and when he did she became mad at him cuz he didnt tell her the secret and now his dad died and lanas mad :P clarks life is shitty

They will NEVER have Bruce Wayne on the show. EVER. The closest to him they had was the character Ian Somerhalder played ("Adam Knight"). Originally he was sort of intended to be a quasi Bruce Wayne type, but Batman Begins was in production (or post production) and they have all the rights as far as live action goes (I believe). Bummer though, that would have been neat.

Ahh, what you talkin about Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is annoying or whatever. I think LEX IS. That guy don't deserve LANA. =o Kristin Kreuk is so hott and she ends up making out with LEX. That made me sick. -.-"

Ha! That makeout scene made me sick too, but for an entirely different reason.
And Lex can't die.  Lana, however has always been a supporting role in the Superman mythology and out of any of the Smallville characters that actually have a comic book counterpart (which would exclude Chloe) the only ones who can feasibly die are Pete and Lana (of the main cast). But considering what removing Lana from the series would do to the ratings, it'll never happen.
