The Olympus ì720sw (mju-720) is a waterproof, shockproof digital camera just in time for spring break or your summer roadtrip. To be clear, we do not mean water resistant — you can actually submerge this camera (up to 3m/10ft). Or, drop it from 1.5m/5ft.

This 7-megapixel camera is 19.8mm (0.78”) thick, and features a 2.5” TFT display. Direct from Japan, this camera comes in aqua blue (perhaps most fitting), shiny silver, or rose pink. Olympus always makes great consumer cameras, but this one is a standout.

now this is a pretty cool camera!!! i cant believe it is a water proof digital camera!!!
it's pretty neat! i know they sell it at bestbuy, but not in the different colors yet. so does anyone have this camera?? if you do, how do you like it?

Hmm...10 feet doesn't really seem that far, although it is useful if you want to take a few pictures...

I just thought of something, why not put Digitial cameras into layers of clear plastic bags and take pictures like that!

Yeah but that's not bad considering you get about 20 feet of waterproof goodness. I'd rather carry something bulky that works than something thin and small but doesn't do crap.

yeah you can. you cant really find them in stores anywhere, but you can definitely order them online. they are a bit pricey.

They have clear hard waterproof cases. And they aren't that expensive if you know where to look.
