hmm i could imagine anyone here ever really caring and stop from there ever-so busy lives to hear what the 2 leaders have said . , Pres Bush and Pres. Ahmadinejad ( Iran Pres) but to any certain extent if any of you guys watched it . what did you think about there speeches during there General Assembly ? And what have you gain thought about what theyve said and compare between them ?
President Bush`s speech sounded very firm regarding policies toward terrorism and the middle east , yet still had in a sense peacful terms toward the Arab Countries specifically . His speeches are very detailed and distinguished toward specific countries . President Ahmandinejad speech was very sincere in his approach on the view of the world and was very much broad in a sense where hes telling everyone ....and over looking and seeing how the US dominates and actually influences the many nations and countries based on their interests and atitudes ...he also explains how peace can be given by compassion social dignity , and respect between nations and how Injustices is layed upon the world today because of smaller countries not having any dominat representation of the U.N security council . So anyways what were your thoughts about todays clashes between there views of the world . My thoughts about Bush speech seemed very a little too demanding other the the Iranian President . More and More i think i`ve gotten a liking too President Ahmadinejad i guess because he realizes the injustice in the world and how we kind of sort of live in a false democracy that is run by a corrupted government and media ....i think i deeply got affected by his speech .. i believe he isn`t an extremist or a terrorist .but a peacemaker and loving , generous guy . |

good job in listening the news i have way to much homework and my job to contend with to have time to watch the news...
anyways the president of Iran speaks well about the issues that he wants to resolve but words are easier said than done. His country is not in the best state in the world when it comes to democracy. Women everyday are treated horrible and there are injustices in the education system and the job opportunities. I do not agree with most things with president Bush, but there are rumors that Iran is planning on creating nuclear weapons which is a big no-no for the other countries that surround Iran. However I do not agree with his war that he is waging out. The U.S is always looked upon as a country that is selfish and overpowering on smaller countries but that is absolutely not true. The U.N was started by the U.S by Elanor Roosevelt and i dont blame the U.S to be so over protected over the U.N. dont judge our country so much until you have realized how much we have helped other countries throughout history, we are not all that bad like other countries make it sound. to say the truth there will never be peace within countries because our society is corrupted by greed. Face it, each country wants to be better than the United States and have a better democracy. I do agree that most of the times we do live in a false democracy and ruled sometimes by corrupt individuals, but there are other people who do help and its not fair for them to be catagorized as being corrupt on a false democracy. you have really good views ![]() |

Politics are about power, and politicians aim to secure power, one way or another. The definition of power may differ from politician to politician, but that's what it boils down to; so I find it hard to believe that either leader is speaking specifically with altruistic goals in mind.
