shes talking about graphics. not coding.

oy.. in photoshop/imageready, lower the opacity of whatever layer u want to make transparent. i think this option is in the layers palette.

alright, we're not "alwaz after j00 azz", you just put your ass there for us to kick. i think you're the one who needs to get a life, you've been begging to become a mod for so friggin long, and nobody cares, because you don't contribute ANYTHING to the forums. by the way, stop spamming. she wasn't after your ass, she was correcting you obvious mistake in interpreting the question. i think i'll take you up on your offer.

I thought there was the rule of no bashing anyone? Especially mods. mad.gif And if you wanna be mod, which I'm sure you wanna be, you're supposed to be following the rules.

As for transparenting images, I'm sure its around as a tutorial because I found a site before that had that tutorial. _smile.gif

usually, I just use the erase lol =P And just make sure you put the eraser to pencil, not bursh, becuase brush doesn't erase clearly enought for it to be transparent >_<" And often, when you open up a blank file, it asks for what the background will be and you should select transparent, but that's for photoshop.. ib arely use imageready pinch.gif

what "parts" of the icon do you mean? uhmm... like the ones Yvonne(x_angawhomps) makes? Where there are rectangular "cuts" in some places? Coz.. if that's what you mean, you'll have to start with a transparent layer and then build up with the images. After that, use the rectangular marquee tool, select any place you want to turn transparent and click delete. You'll see a checkered black and white area after doing so. That makes it transparent. You'll have to save it by clicking Save for Web and then make sure you save it as a .gif file. happy.gif happy.gif

if that's not what you meant then... iono. blink.gif
