Not sure. I don't have one anymore but my ex, Gabby, said that the sweetest thing I have ever done for her was when I sang her a song and slow danced with her underneath the stars on the night of the dance when she had to miss the dance because she was grounded.

Similar but not the same. Kathleen's is about what you did and that one is about what someone else did. I'm sure we can keep it open. The first one is the closest but it is ancient. This should really stay open.

Someone else made a topic like this and they said it was similar enough and closed it.

Oh well.

The last post date for all of these is in 2005. I'm sure we can start a fresh topic and keep it open. Also I made a topic similar to a previous one but the last post date was in 2005 so I got to keep it open.

^ Yeah, which is why I figured.. a new topic should be made. They're all uber-long, too. Anywho, now that I think about it, I kind of feel like a bitch for not doing anything for my past boyfriends. XD.gif I mean I got them presents and whatnot for Christmas/birthdays, but I've never done anything extraordinary. ermm.gif

K well...here's something I guess.
I told him I had to work this day he'd been wanting to go out and see me and I called him at some point in the afternoon saying I was on my break and that the other day I'd hid something at his front door, so I told him to go look...lo & behold I was there haha. I told him to get dressed and I took him out to dinner to this fancy place we'd been to a few times that's soo good and has a great view. I treated for dinner then told him to close his eyes as I drove us to downtown Vancouver and we showed up at Queen Elizabeth Theatre and showed him that I had to 2 tickets to Phantom of the Opera in my hand, which I knew he'd been wanting to see. _smile.gif It was great.

I was broke for valentines...

I usually cook for him, but we rarely have steak...

So with just $15,

I made him an awsome Steak & Shrimp w/ cheese & mashed potato
for dinner. When he came home from work that day, we ate din din by candle light with my bouquet of roses he sent me in the center of the table.

He says it should be Valentines Day everyday! wub.gif

Aw. Extraordinary things aren't needed in a relationship. You are one of the coolest people I know. worthy.gif That is all that should count. They are just in there to suprise them.

This is more cute than sweet, but I loved the way I asked my boyfriend out to prom. It was given that we were going to go together, but I still wanted to do something. So blew out the insides of an egg and inside I slipped in a little note and gave it to him wrapped in a box. The only way to get the note out was to break the egg. The note read "I didn't want to count my chickens before they hatched, PROM??" Oh, and he said yes. biggrin.gif

You are so lucky to be mine because if you were ugly I wouldn't have shit to do with you. Then I kissed him on the cheek. Simple and reassuring.

idk.. it was good enough for me; me and my [ex] boyfriend were busy during weekdays, like of course we'd see each other and kiss and all but we never really HUNG OUT.. so on week ends or whenever he had the chance he'd suprise me after his baseball games/basketball games and we'd have our moments at the park looking up at the stars... it was romantic

Ian, that's so sweet. omg. The nicest thing a guy ever did for me was buy a poster for Christmas. -__-

And the sweetest thing I did for a guy was nothing sweet/lovely, really. I'd rather not say it :(

Hmm, well I folded 100 hearts, and wrote on the inside 100 different reasons why I loved him, so if you opened up the heart, it would show the reason. I also included 100 different ways to say 'I Love You' in different languages, etc on the back of the heart.
And, I made him a pillow (or rather, embroidered a pillowcase) with the main lyrics of our song (Truly Madly Deeply) that applied to how I felt about him on one side, and on the other side, I embroidered a huge heart with our initials inside it. He says that he sleeps on it every day.

for our first month i had been working on a gift for her for a couple days.
usually we chat until we have to sleep but on the days i worked on the gift, i ended the conversations earlier without any good reason. what i was making for her was a puzzle. i printed out a puzzle piece and traced it on oak tag so it would look like the actual puzzle that you would buy for like 5 year olds. and on the puzzle it had a little message on it. so i cut it up into like 25 or 30 different puzzle pieces and my plan was to scatter it everywhere for her to find. like her locker at school and her bookbag, some of her books and some of her friends would also give her some. so on the day of our one month, i kept the puzzle pieces in my jacket pocket and also a necklace i bought her. that day we went on a trip to another school and i brought my jacket along. we sat next to each other and she was just fiddling through it to see what kind of interesting things she would find in there. so she found the necklace i bought her and ALL the puzzle peices before i got to set it up and the whole plan was ruined, but she was really suprised and happy.

lawl sorry its so long guys
