contact tables/ making a clear image to disable pic stealing, image slicing or image mapping to create links?? Options

1. i have learned to image map but it seems as though others dont use this method when they create their myspace layouts....when i read other people's code i see none of the html that is created when i map my contact table

2. i came across the script that places a clear gif over your image in the form of a div so people have to be much craftier to steal your pics, however the link to get the clear gif is broken so i would like to know how to create my own clear gif

1. You shouldn't be reading other peoples html anyway. Two some people don't use the imagemap a contact table method. If you go here (site page no longer works), they used have a premade contact table psd. If you have photoshop or another program that accepts psds you can just add your background and what not and already have the buttons there for you. Yup, that was the easy way. Also image slicing. Which is a different code and it also works well.

2. I never heard of a clear gif. So um let me tell you the good method. The good method to prevent people from stealing would be to constantly put your name and myspace link on the graphics. Because who knows , there can be a work around w/ the "clear gif" that can be posted on the web.. So if someone figures a way around it, and posts it everyone knows which sucks.

dont get me wrong when i say looking at others coding i mean looking thru the coding of layouts submitted on here and not for stealing but in order to learn what codes mean what and how tweaking "x" effects "y" but not just to take other people's html

2. I found the clear gif thing on here in the myspace scripts section....it keeps you from having to tag pics and if someone wants your pic when they right click they will only save a clear image instead of your image that nested beneath the clear image....there is a link to get a clear image in the post but the link is broken so now im stuck because i dunno how to create a clear image...also there is a way around it but it hasnt been discussed and i havent found one online so this seems pretty safe for the images i'll be trying to keep from being copied

haha Its ok. I just mean source wise. Sorry I don't know every single script here since everyone accepts them. Is it in the new script section? or a link from an old post? If its from an old post the script didn't work. Because when the new scripts were added we went through them, to see which one's worked , etc. And only those were added.

Just put your name on stuff or your picture & name. Because it might of been javascript, which myspace doesn't allow.
