It's me again. The background worked, but now I want to change...er get RID of the myspace default layout and make it similar to http://www.myspace.com/mommabear116.

I already have:
<style>body{background-color: PINK; background-image: url(http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/6375/back020qc2.gif); background-repeat: ; background-attachment: ; background-position: ;}</style>
in there, what else do I do to get either the current backround to be the whole page, or, at the very least, to get a solid color pink instead of the white box. Need to see my page at myspace? here it is:
http://www.myspace.com/kellierichards.
Thank you

If you want that whole layout, you can also go to the place she got it and just get the code for it

Sorry 'bout that, my husband changed it on me---he's a bit paranoid and protective of the kids (their pics will eventually be on there if I can figure this stuff out).
I went to that area on here mentioned above, then to the 3rd one...I have no clue what I insert and where I insert it. How do I find out what exact colors or pixels I like to put in? Honestly y'all, I am intelligent, but not when it comes to coding a page. This is a first. If I should be signing up at the nearest community college for a course in this, be honest...I'm cool with that wink.gif

You know what, I went to that second site and all is good. Thanks!!!

haha its perfectly fine.

K to find color codes i'll give you this
http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/color-blend/

Its a color blender you can choose two colors and you can blend them together and make ten colors

example of where the color codes come up:

The 6 number/letter code is a color code. This is what you will use in layout coding.
Don't ever put the #before the color codes or it won't work.

Now for fonts, you can choose any basic font.
Most people like small fonts 7px.
You can also choose arial, times new roman, Courier New, Georgia, etc.
And for the px size of the font I would choose anything from 7px and up.
Just mess around until you find one you like best.

Thank you soooo much for all your help. I played around with that website with the myspace layouts and I think I'm moving from coding virgin to coding novice.
