I am sure you have seen this in many movies or shows as a plot , I saw this on the spinoff of Buffy the Vampire Slayer called ANGEL. But in the last season the basic story was about this woman named jasmine, who was the most perfect human being I guess and she was treated like God. As soon as she became famous she started making miracles happen, suddenly she eliminated all evil in the world, cured all diseases, stopped poverty, etc. she basically made the world perfect. But the catch was that she killed hundreds of people a day.I forgot but i think Angel kills Jasmine because she was killing perfectly innocent people, but those people accepted it and died for the rest of the world.

If we ever had a situation where one person made the world perfect but in return that person killed a hundred or so random people a day in place of the perfection they had brought upon the world, would you be against it or not?

explain, if you are against or with it. would you die for the perfection of the world?

Hmm, something to think about. But I'm against it. People should just be killed for perfection. I wouldn't give my life up that simple just so everyone else could have perfection around them. Soon a ton of people would be dead and people would get lonely and only to just have one place be perfect. Nothings perfect. And it would take ages to reach it.

More than likely everyone would have to die, except for the person killing all the people to read perfection..
Sounds kind of conceited..

Eh I don't think that made so much sense as it did in my head.

lol that was confuzing but i think i get where you are coming from. But think about it its like a couple hundred people a day compared to the deaths that happen every six tenths of a second (thats the rate they predicted for how many people die in seconds) so a lot more people die in a day compared to the couple hundred. the only downside is that you dont know who is going to die, they did nothing wrong, they were just chosen.

and its not like they are going to stop making babies.

I LOVE ATS. Anywho.. you have to factor in the bit about them no longer having free will, too. That's also part of the reason Angel (well, initially Fred) killed Jasmine. No one in that world had their own free will - that's why those people accepted dying at her hands.

i`d be against it.
perfection is not worth losing
your life to me.
and no, i wouldnt die
for the perfection
of the world, because
then i wouldnt be able to
live when its perfect.

I don't think perfection his worth losing a life over. Imagine if the world was perfect. That would suck

That kind of undermines the definition of perfection, doesn't it? Just a little? huh.gif

I don't believe in perfection, so no, I wouldn't die for it.

Wait, didn't Connor kill Jasmine? He like punched her in the back of her head then it came out her mouth. Or something like that. But yeah, Connor killed her...

I love angel and buffy

"I slayed millions, to save billions"

The millions she killed would eventually add up to the whole human population of the earth

The reason Jasmine was evil was becuase she took away peoples free will.

Without free will people are not themselves, jasmine took over their minds so therefore was evil

I would definatly be against it, seeing as no one is perfect, no matter what happens

death a millions of innocent people Can only be something good for a short while, eventually it would end up with the destruction of the human race.

The world is perfect the way it is.

Seeing as everyones definition of a prefect world is completely different, But in the real world, the world is the way it is, it is perfect seing as no one is perfect for they all have at least one flaw (jasmines was she ate people) But then their flaws is what makes them perfect, so if we think of the world as a person, the world is perfect.

Yeah, my bad. XD.gif Now I remember. How could I forget one of the greatest deaths in the Jossverse ever! sad.gif B-b-b-but Fred was onto the Jasmine thing initially! Without her, well, someone else would've figured it out.. but still. whistling.gif
