Hiding the add at the top of the page is against the Myspace Terms Of Service,to hide the top links and search form,use the following code.

He gave you "that other code" because one, it's against the Myspace TOS (as Ricky mentioned earlier), and two, it's against createblog's rules. So, as aforementioned,
