Yeah, so um. Here's the stock photo I used. First time vexeling, just trying to get a feel for it. Yes, he looks like he has a skin condition, I know, and I also know that I could stand to make more skin layers and use closer color tones. But I didn't because this was practice. In any case, I'm too lazy to blur this right now, but I may update it later. And btw, you have no idea how thrilled I am that it actually remotely resembles the original. XD

Pretty good for a first one, Anna. _smile.gif I was wondering about the blue, then I saw the stock. XD.gif ight I suggest that you use colors that are umm... closer? I dunno. Like, it's really light to really dark. Ah, nevermind I'm confusing.

yeah, besides the choppiness, and the posterized looking colors it's pretty good. YOu have the concept of vectoring down really well

The only thing I would suggest is making you layers smoother

My only suggestions are, more layers, smoother layers and not using posterized colors.

even though it's a bit choppy, I think it looks great :)
just choose some closer tones. then I'd totally drool over it x)

Agreed with Maryland, and thespoon.

It is a bit choppy, but I think its pretty well done for your first. Maybe pick different colors next time instead of the posterized ones..

Maybe find some bases to work with..

Good job overall though I think.

I think it looks great, yeah it would be better if this were smooth, but look.. you spent 9 hours on that, and you can't expect it to come out perfect the first time.. IT LOOKS GREAT

That's a great first vexel, you can work on making the shapes less choppy. Otherwise it's good.
