I did this paper about 5 underrated and 5 overrated historical figures for AP World History. I was just wondering...who do you believe is the most overrated or underrated entertainers (singers, actors, directors, etc) in the entertainment industry and why? You can also put up overrated or underrated movies, songs, etc.

Overrated - Umm let me think Jessica Simpson ( Do you really think she that stupid in real life)
Underated - I dont know. I think that if a celebrity has a low rate the reason is probably because they suck or just did something wrong to disappoint their fans.  This is just my opinion. Im not even sure. |

overrated 1. Lord of the Rings 2. Rap 3. That 70's show (please don't kill me) 4. Britney Spears 5. MTV underrated 1. One Tree Hill 2. umm...agh that's all I can think of. |

Well, Jessica Simpson is definately overrated as is Britney Spears. Hmm, who else... Anna Kornikova, Boa (sorry guys, but she sucks), Usher, 50 Cent (he just sucks) and G-Unit (they all suck), Paris Hilton (she's not even that cute, she reminds me of a little boy)... Joss Stone is underrated. She's got an amazing voice! |

I don't think Lord of the Rings is overrated.
 Um...here: Overrated Hilary Duff Avril Lavigne American Idol (the first one was okay, but yeah...) Ack...reality TV in general - it's getting old Orlando Bloom (as hot as he is, it pains me to say this) Good Charlotte Underrated Nirvana =) Johnny Depp (heh well, I suppose he's getting more credit now) "Angel" Real punk "Family Guy" Books |

I would've said that Angel is underrated but you see...the series finale dissapointed me so much, I saw the season as overall bad.

i can't say nirvana is underrated. kurt cobain is a name synonymous with grunge. unless, you are speaking of nirvana as in the mental state.

Everything on mtv, and mtv 2 is overrated
what I do is underated... Basketball, football, baseball... mainstream Hip hop... it's all overrated Skateboarding, wakeboarding, ska music... underrated. |
