i'm really new with livejournal and I was wondering how you can change the background color of your entries and add a border to them too without changing the background color of the entire journal.

did that make sense? i'm sorry if it doesn't but this is really bugging me. sad.gif

yes, you can.

find table in your stylesheet, and add this after ";" and before }:
CODE
background-color:######;
border:#px ###### solid;

replace the #'s with what you want.
