Maybe you're just so used to DIV that coding a regular layout was more confusing because it didnt have div.
EH?

A div layout for what? My Space? Xanga?

The Lounge isn't the place for this.

Resource Center Subforums

This is where you would discuss coding. Please let us know what type of site you are referring to you so that we can move this to the appropriate forum.

It's the opposite for me. I change the CSS around a lot, but the DIV layers seem to stay pretty consistent (besides actually moving it). XD.gif

^Ergh, I hate moving div's.

I hate finding out the width and height for the little div's too. After not making a div for a while, you forget how to :P

Because we're trying to figure out which DIV codes she's talking about so we could put the topic in the proper forum. It belongs in a resource center, which was not specified. Rebeccas asked her the question earlier. _smile.gif

I became more familiar with HTML & CSS first, so DIVs were weird for me.
But yeah, depending on how you want your layout to turn out, sometimes DIVs are easier.

Mmm. I started out with 'regular' layouts. I couldn't figure out divs for the lognest time.. I personally think they are more time consuming. Having to align everything is a pain. pinch.gif
