Why are a lot of chinese people racist? Options

My friend's mom's like that too.
If we make friends with a black person,
both our moms would ask questions about him/her.
It's like they dont want us to have black friends.

Shouldn't the real question be why is anyone racist? And there is no right answer to that, and there's really nothing you can do about it.

I get that though. My mom is subtly racist against blacks, and it pisses me off. At least it was subtle until the other night when I was outside talking on the phone with Kathleen & Brenden, and I got chewed out because my mom thought I was talking to/flirting with the black neighbor.

I think most people that come here from other countries are not "racist" but their not used to other cultures so they just stereotype them depending on what their culture displays certain ethnic groups as.

They think im like every other black youth out there these days. Ignorant to sum it up. My parents are like that; they hate ASIANS, ARABS and most Muslims. My mom doesn't mind them coming to the house but the thought of me getting married/dating an Asian is a huge NO.

Well thats just how the world is. Nothing is going to change unless we make a change. Most people will act like they care. They'll say its wrong and that people shouldnt be rasict but then they will go and make a racist or stereotypical comment and boom now their in that catagory. But since this is on the topic of asians,chinese,filipino,japanese ect im going to say this. In my opinion it depends on where you live and how the people of your race act. Not saying everyone acts the same but the majority of people from your race. Example and im going to be real about this, my area has a lot of niggas. Niggas meaning ignorant ass black people who do things like jump people for their stuff, start fights with random people, mess with people just because they dont like things like the shoes the person has on. Its sad but thats how it is. And because my gf mom has seen so much of this she wont even give me a chance even though i dont partake in any of the antics. You just have to prove them wrong. Simple as that.

omg thats the same with my parents. My parents talk crap about other races, but when they have like a black or white or spanish person in front of me, they'd be acting polite, putting up an act. It bothers me sometimes, but I guess it's not my place to judge my parents.

One time this black guy came to my house and he had this cleaning product with him. My mom answers the door and right when she sees him she closes the door. The man kept trying to use the cleaning product on the door and my mom went around the whole house to get to the front to tell him to leave. I guess my mom didn't want him in the house.
