hey, I'm gunna get foundation I've done all the match-up things on covergirl so I know my shade and brand TruBlend, Natural Ivory, or Ivory. But they have liquid, powder, or new mousse.I'm gunna be in school and all that Jazz so from people who use it or someone who uses something similar, I need opinions! (I'm leaning towards mousse but it has hardly any stuff in it, or I'm heading toward liquid, MAYBE the compact, I'm just not sure cause I need to re-stock my make-up! lol) I REALLY think Liquid cause it'll laast longer but I've never really used any foundations before.

erm... do you even need to use
foundation, becuase... it's really
bad for your skin as teens

if you think you do... I think
liquid doesn''t look so cachy
it's more natural as long as
you get the right color and
apply it right.

I say go for the mousse. I actually have all kinds of foundation (powder, liquid, mousse), and none of them are cheap. I don't use them often (weird, I know), but I've always liked the mousse the best. Covering it with powder to top it off would help lock it in.

I've never worn that stuff, but I'm guessing foundation has a more natural coverage, and wearing loose powder on top can make the foundation last longer.

Well,
In my freshman year I use to wear make-up alot until I started playing sports. Then it got pointless because I was always sweating. So I stopped wearing all that stuff. I used foundation and it wasnt cool. But use whatever will make your face still feel comfortable after a long day of school because you don't want your face feeling like a cake. Nor do you want to feel like your face can't breathe and your pores are clogged up.

well if you have really oily skin then foundation would not be the best thing to wear ( only if you have like really dry skin)
powder is good to use for oily skin

and if you want some foundation or powder its better to get water based so it wont clog your pores.

That's exactly what I do. Use the mousse stuff and just put powder over it. I like the look it gives me.

Depends also on your skin type as well. Be sure to keep that in mind whenever buying anything makeup wise.

Oh god that stuff is horrible. All of it. The mousse looks ok at first but it gets so cakey by the end of the day. Go for that pure makeup by maybelline. It's 104787587x better

I use the Trublend liquid (in the stand up 1oz liq) and it's good at first but after you use it alot it starts to come out of the container really oily.
I don't have dry or oily skin, and very rarely get acne... so...

Recently I started using the Maybelline dream matte mousee. So far, so good.

After you apply foundation you should really add a powder to soften the look.

Even though I have a pretty even skin tone, and clear skin I still like my foundation.

I've heard that the mousse is good aside from these boards.sooo i have regular skin so I'm guessing that mousse would be a good option

I use the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. I am pretty satisfied with it, but then I also have not used any other kinds of foundation, so maybe my opinion is not very valid. I also put on powder throughout the day, because my face is very oily. This routine is pretty good for me, though I would like to put less on my face... But anyway, if your skin is pretty oily as well, you might want to try this.

I cant help you between liquid and powder but if you really want some advice mousse is not the best choice...it looks too thick and fake and on top of that...I have heard and from experience know that it is very bad for your skin! so just be careful!
