Ok so I'm REALLY starting to like this guy. We have been talking back and forth on a site. I have never met him in person, but I would like to. I know he is who he says he is because he lives where I use to live. He is friends with my old friends. I just want to meet him but it seems like he wont find time for me. I dont know what to do, but I can't get him off my mind.

Oh I forgot to add that he has had his heart broken. And I guess that could be another reason... but why can't he realize all girls aren't heartless bitches

Guys have trust issues. (like us girls)
Be friends first. Good friends. So that he can trust you like he trust his mama.  Besides, knowing that ya'll we're friends first, increases trust and honesty...and comfort. |

Dont start falling for him yet. Then your going to get yourself hurt. Meet up with him, hang out a few times then see if its possible for you two to go out without any problems like the time and dedication to the relationship.

Ah, that's just like me. For me, my guy lives in the same place I live (Guam). Since our islnad is small, it's not a surprise. and My friends know him... I just still never met him. As for you, you should meet him and you two will see the first impresions on your faces. Ususally people express more online though.

Uh.... just ask him to go hang out with you. Tell him to meet up at the movie theater. If he avoids you or tells you he can't hang out more than once... ask him what's the problem?
When someone's shadey as far as hangin out for the first time, the possibilities are endless and normally they think it's somethin negative about themselves. Rather it be that they're already in a relationship and they feel guilty. Or maybe they judge themselves negatively and they think the person they like is gonna judge them badly. |

Yeah maybe he's scared, or you never know, he might be playing. I know you said that you believe who he says he is, but if he really isn't that might be a reason of him not wanting to meet you. You never know.
