Definition

Some people get confused or don't really know the complete definition for "Anime" or "Otaku" is. So here are the definitions to help you out!

Anime: a style of animation originating in Japan. It is sometimes referred to by the portmanteau Japanimation. Anime is characterized by stark, colorful graphics and stylized, colorful images depicting vibrant characters in a variety of different settings and story-lines, aimed at a wide range of audiences. Anime may be broadcast on television, distributed on media such as DVDs or published as console and computer games. Anime is usually influenced by Japanese comics known as manga.


Otaku: a variety of geek (or an overly obsessed fanboy / fangirl) specializing in anime and manga.

WOOHOO!!! YAY for V5 well I guess I'll pop a question, what's the latest Episode/Movie anime you've seen recently,

I've watched Episode 90 of Bleach and 195 of Naruto, No new episode of naruto will happen this week, I think due to a fact of the new released Naruto Movie thats going to air in japan, but for Bleach 91 will be released somewhat this week !!!

the anime isnt as good as the manga. the manga goes further of course while the anime stops at volume...6 was it? and altered the ending... go for the manga if your into romance, comedy and drama this is a great manga for you.

GAH Theyre replacing Hachi's actress with the the chick from the Japanese Grudge movies, for NANA 2. I read that Aoi didnt want to continue with the second movie because of a certain bedroom scene and she didnt want to tarnish her reputation. And another reason was she didnt agree or signed a contract for the second film. I really like the girl that played Hachi I thought she was really cute. The replacement actress doesnt look that bad but I guess what has to be done, has to be done.

It is kind of dying. I feel like when it does get REALLY slow like this, I don't want to bother anymore. But then I remember how it was when I first joined and I want it to go back to it's livelier days. There aren't a lot of people that have the same interest in anime/manga/doramas in my area, so this is basically the only place I can talk to people about it and know that they'll understand what I'm talking about. Not only will they understand, but they'll care!

Woah lots of members! I havent been for a while! Im glad were growing into such a large group!
I've been too busy doing character designs for a game me and my friends are making. I have been drawing alot though and trying to improve on crap i couldnt do before like coloring >.<
