QUOTE(ryanoman @ Dec 16 2005, 3:40 PM) Your allowed to discuss p2p and illegal file sharing. But your not allowed to tell people where to get illegal files. Such as sites and Warez links. But you can also say things like, I got it from kazaa. But thats probably the most you can do. |

Well then I'd have to BitComet or Limewire.
But wouldn't this lead to piracy? |

p2p isn't necessarily illegal in all cases; the thread can stay open as long as illegal activity is not discussed.

I personally don't use any file sharing programs.
But I heard Limewire sucks... so what's better? |

Shareaza. It combines the networks that all major P2P clients run on like Bareshare, Kazaa, Limewire, eDonkey, etc. for better search results and the fastest speeds. It also automatically filters out viruses and phony files out of the search engine before you even have a chance to download it.
I've used all of the major P2P clients and Shareaza is my favorite. It's the best hands down. |

Search programs.
I never really got the hang of how to use torrents. BitTorrent confuses me! I tried to use it a few times, yeah.. never worked. |

Topics that don't give out links to download illegally but only discuss the program or method of downloading have been allowed in the past.
