I was at TGI Friday's.. Options

I was having dinner with a friend of mine at TGI Friday's, which is an awesome place to eat by the way, and she decided she was gonna order a drink. She's a bit of a ditz sometimes (I love her), and she kept going on and on about how this was the best drink she'd ever had and she can NEVER find a bartender that knows how to make it because it's such a rare drink.

She told the waiter, "Please ask your bartender if he knows how to make this drink.. I don't know the exact name, but it's something like 'hour in a candy shop' or something like that.." The waiter left, came back, and said, "Alright, he says it's gonna be a bit on your drink because this takes a while to make, but it's actually called 'One Free Hour in a Candy Store'. We'll have it out in a bit."

So that's the extent of the conversation at the restaurant, but when I got home I was curious about that drink. I looked it up and found out it's a TGI Friday's exclusive. So THAT'S why she can't find it anywhere else, because it's ONLY MADE AT THAT RESTAURANT. And of course the bartender knows how to make a drink that the restaurant made up in the first place.

I just thought that was pretty funny. I never told her about this because I didn't want her to be embarrassed, but maybe I will at some point. Any similar "airhead moment" stories?

Hmmm, I can't think of any airhead moments right now. I know I've had a lot, but I can't think of one.

wow funny story...I'd be embarassed too..I guess I have one that happend at TGIF in the bathroom..some dude was in the stall next to mine taking a wiz and he was staring at the wall..so then he starts saying " dude do you like Steak" and I was like yeah sure.. and he says " Wow really me too, I like mines well done" I guess I was interested so I kept talking too " I Like mines well done too " and he said " Awesome" and I'm Like "cool" acting all cool and sh*t and then he looks at me strange I looked at him I noticed he was talking to somebody on the phone wearing his blue tooth...and he left...looks like I was talking to myself the whole time

Once time at lunchtime at school, we went to this Mexican restaurant called "Juanitas" with all of my Mexican friends & one of them was Afghan. In total we were like TEN .

Turns out, my Afghan friend didn't have money to pay her part so she got really nervous. She got up & went to the front desk & talked to the owner. We THOUGHT she went to the BATHROOM though. She asked the owner .. "Can I pay you back later??"

Later, the waitress comes and says .. "WELL .. How are we going to do THIS? You guys don't have money to pay for all of this !?"

My friends were like "WTF YES WE DO .."

Then we started laughing because my friend asked the owner if she could pay her back later. You don't ASK that at a restaurant. LOL. Then we payed for her.

There was once when I realized I didn't ask my mom for enough money to eat at Chili's, and I had to borrow some money from this girl I barely knew after I saw the ticket.. I almost cried.

Back when I used to go out with my boyfriend .. he would ALWAYS pay for me. He would never let me pay for myself

Once, we went out to go eat breakfast with alll his friends & once I got to his friend's house I realized I had no money. I was like "Oh whatever .. it's not like I'll really use it cus he's so stubborn about paying .."

We get to the place & when it was time to pay he's like "Do you have two dollars? Or one? A quarter?"

I was like " Shit .. I uhm, lost it." It was sooo embarrassing.

Turns out, he actually did have money. He jus wanted a quarter cus he didn't want to break his other bill.

wow these stories are really good..the one with your Afghan friend Jankayy must've been embarassing =\ I cant recall having something like that but I can only imagine..^^^^ I pay majority for my girls things too..sometimes I dream of my wallet eating me..lol neways..gyea when it comes to breakfast I juss get her a bowl of Cereal...lunch and dinner thats different X[

Dani you should tell her though, otherwise she'll go around to other restaurants trying to order that drink infront of people and when they have no idea what it is she'll be all frustrated and stuff.

Oh yah, def have had plenty of airhead moments. PLENTY.
I can't even think of a really good one at the moment.
But I remember when I first got gas in my car I couldn't open the gas flap thing in the back, I kept twisting the knob for like a full minute in the wrong direction. Frustrated, I simply flipped it to the left by accident and it popped open. Don't worry, no one was watching.

Anyways, yes I have a great story.

Me and my family were watching "the dog whisperer" or w/e. and he was training a sheepdog to do its job (herd sheep) and so then at the end it was like "he is finally where he belongs)" (the dog was out in a field with a bunch of sheep)
And my older sister was like "wait.. so is he half sheep?"
We were all silent for like 30 seconds and then everyone busted out laughing..

OH I have a really good one..

I was sleeping in the car on a really long drive, and we were driving behind this semi that was pulling another truck behind it. The truck being pulled was facing our direction, and we got up directly behind it. About that time, my brother shook me and yelled "OH MY GOD DANIELLE!!!!!!!" pointing out the windshield. So imagine, I looked up to see a truck that I thought was about to smash into us. I started screaming and freaking out and then realized it was being pulled by another truck.. It took me a good five minutes to stop crying. Seriously, REALLY scary moment though. =x

yeah I went to TGI's when I was 12 with my family and the menu was right in front of me... and I asked them, "Do you have chicken fingers with fries?"

Well, my friend has had some major airhead moments. Once, when I was a freshman in highschool, some friends and I were teasing another friend because she turned 15 a full year before the rest of us. So one girl said, "Ha, you're halfway to 30!" I said, "You're a quarter to 60!" And a girl named Amanda said "You're over a decade old!"

Kate, the girl we were teasing, said "We all are." And Amanda says, "Not me, I'm only 14." She thought that a decade was 15 years. The next day, she said that her mom thought the same thing.
