^agreed with Kathleen in some ways.

Although I rather always have that limit that you never know when your going to die. And you cherish the life you have more I think.

I wouldn't want to be immortal. I think there would come a point where I'd be too tired of the world and be pumped for the afterlife. But, I wouldn't get to go there because I'd be immortal. So I'd spend my time thinking of elaborate ways to kill myself and outwit my immortality. I'd fail and run out of ideas then resort to hitting myself in the head with a board with a nail in it day in and day out.

Truth be told, I don't want to hit myself with a board with a nail in it. So I choose mortality.

in lotr, the elves were immortal but they weren't really happy because they saw all the wars and people die all around them. but if you were immortal you would probably age slower anyway

I used to think about living forever, but that means I'd be alive and witness everyone else I love die, and I'd age forever and never die ( Unless that was part of the immortality was that I never got older ) and that made me sad. I'd also live to the end of the world, when no one else was alive but me, and I'd wander the earth alone and old.


So..uh..No Lol.

It's CHII!!!!

I'd hate to be immortal - all the people that I care about would be dead... I'm the kind of person that needs people around me. I cherish so many people.

And it's be tiresome seeing my great-great-great-great-great-great-great..... grandchildren. And memorize their names, birthdays... oh goodness the presents at Christmas.

Yes and no. It be nice to not die. But lets say if you're immortal, and you like get run over by a 18 wheeler truck, and crushed and all of that, wouldn't you feel the pain, but still not die. And if Earth blew up or something along with every other planet and living thing.. you'd still be alive. I can't take being alone.

I think that really depends.. I mean there are various degrees of immortality, I'm sure. There are some that don't feel pain when others do. Like I said, go hump a tree.

I would be immortal if I had eternal youth and the option to kill myself whenever I wanted. Then I could learn and see everything, and when I got tired of living *poof* there I go.

Being immortal could be cool.
but it would also be very bad.
first off, you would live to see every single one of your freinds and loved ones die.
then
the world problems, not only do they affect you in your real lifetime, but since your immortal, yur whole life.
and the world is worsening.
