Do you think beautiful people w/ horrible personality is equivalent to ugly people w/ gorgeous personality?

Of course not. A person's phsyical shortcomings can be overruled by a shining personality. But if you've an ugly personality, it doesn't matter how aesthetically pleasing you are, no one will want to interact with you.

sometimes it is it depends on the person. i know lots of "beautiful people" they really are mean on the inside, and then again you have the ones that are the nicest people in the world. "ugly people" can have ugly personalities, and then some have the most amazing personalities...

I think they're equal. Attractive people with horrible personalities is... well.. unattractive. Hanging with them makes me feel paranoid and.. insecure

Uh, I don't really think there are people with truly ugly personalities. Everyone has a good side to them, and personality is SO much more in depth than physical appearance. You cannot just use the same word to describe physical appearance and personality. For one person, that person may seem like a mean arrogant jerk, but what makes them have friends? Obviously their friends accept them or see another side of them.

There are people with beautiful personalities though, and if you have discovered that, you obviously forgot they were ugly outside.

Most definitely equal. Someone who is physically attractive but not attractive on the inside, in my opinion, is not attractive at all. I'd much rather be around ugly people who are kind and aren't an ass about everything.

I also agree that an ugly person with a great personality > pretty person with a bad attitude. Though it does seem unfair to classify that into good and bad. People do have layers.

Actually... it all depends on a person, doesn't it? We can't all agree on who's ugly or who's beautiful. And I also think that we see sides of personality from each other. One person could be nice to one and mean to another. X_x Grr, it's so hard to explain...

I don't mean to sound superficial but I'd choose someone who is at least decent looking over the most awesome personality I've ever seen. I couldn't stand it if that person was extremely ugly and it would be torture if I couldn't stand to see him/her. But generally, personality over looks.

I'm a bit shallow when it comes to that as well.. But it's possible for me to become very close friends with someone and share a good connection with someone.. As I realize what a great personality he has, he slowly becomes more and more physically attractive in my eyes.

I will mention that I kinda chose looks this time. >_>

I'd much rather have an ugly person with a great personality than the hottest dude ever if he was a jerk.

It's kinda like shallow hal... and looks are easier to fix, you can't easily change a person's personality.

And when you gte to know someone, they begin to become more physically attractive as well.

I'd definetely would prefer to befriend someone that's ugly but w/ an amazing personality than someone gorgeous w/ an ugly personality. Seriously, unless they're soo ugly that they make everyone stare at them because they're so damn ugly, I don't see why it should be a problem. Besides, most people (I'm not saying ALL) who pick on others for their looks & stuff usually have a low self-esteem & try making themselves look better. Trust me, I'd know.

To me he was. I was expressing my opinion and he treated me like I was stupid rather than respect what I stood for. I could read, so it offends me when he quoted his first post to me. Things like that just irks me.

I know a lot of people who are..well..not attractive looking, and have horrible personalities. And as shallow this seems, it does make a difference if you're pretty or ugly, I mean if you can choose you would choose to dine with a pretty person than an ugly one..

No.. Absolutely not. If you're horrible the inside, for me you're just plain ugly in any way you want to put it. I never use that word to describe someone's looks.. because I believe everyone's beautiful in a way. But hell I love to use it for someone's personality when they're being assholes. For me, it has the same effect. Personality is way, way more important than looks.

Someone who's unattractive but has a great personality kicks the pretty-but-jerk's ass.

The problem with society is that you get treated depending on your looks. The world in simply nicer to beautiful people, it's the ugly truth. Personally I think that personality has a great deal to do with how far you're going to get in life but unfortunatly, if you had both looks and personality you'd probably be better off than if you just had one.

Ugly people with great personalities will go farther in life (unless of course in terms of modeling etc.) But if you're a really nasty person, who's going to want to hire you?

i know plenty of ugly people with great personalities.....but i always leave them at "friends":D

seriously though,isnt the definition of someone that your not attracted to but has a great personality... a "Buddy"?

i have to be alittle physically attracted to ya. ;D
