I remember last year in class when we had secret Santa, I gave my receiver a very obvious present. I was the only Asian-proud person in class (heck.. I was the only asian) and I gave her a japanese poster with a geisha drawn on it and some characters....

When I handed it in I was proud and all for picking such a lovely gift but then, I realized, "OH SHIT I should've picked a less obvious present!"

Do you guys do that? You do this work or give something and you feel all proud and happy about giving it until you realize You messed up right when you handed it in?!

//edit

I think this topic would have more discussion if you talk about lame secret santa seasons! Well we can talk about both kk?

I remember when I wrote the perfect report, but when I handed it in, I realized that it wasn't what it was suppose to be about.

I kind of didn't have a lot of money growing up, so I was always really ashamed of my presents.. But we didn't really do Secret Santa, it was more like we bought something and then at random the presents were handed out.

The one secret santa experience I had, I think was in grade 5, and I'm pretty sure I gave the person gel pens.

Gel pens were pretty hot then, so I don't think it was obvious. pinch.gif

I admit I didn't really read this topic but I just saw secret Santa and got pissed off.

Okay in Chorus Freshman year we had secret santa, and I bough this bitch the best shit..like $40 dollar presents for three days. I was feelin you know into the spirit of giving, ya dig?

This bitch was giving me shit like pencils..and notebook papers and stuff you KNOW she just pulled out her bookbag.

But I kept droppin them $$ on her because I was waiting for like a BIG present on the last day...Surprise present was like a disposable camera. WOWOWOW.

Secret santa is lame, when you got cheap ass people.

Word. I got weird stuff.
