Dazed and confused., wordpress... Options

I'm having a reeealllly hard time customizing my wordpress.

I'm trying to make mine look something like this. I want the date and the title of my entry to be in a header, that matches the headers I'm using for the rest of my site. And, I want to have the comment link at the bottom.

How would I go about doing this? I know I need to edit the header section in wordpress. Toya has helped me alot, and given me plenty of codes. I'm just really confused on how to customize it.

OH, also... when I click "comment" on my wordpress (on my site), a comment box doesnt show up for someone to leave a comment.

Any help would be really really appreciated.
