i prefer natural tans...fake tans seem too fake and they make you look like oompa loompas lol!

neither. i have white (not pale, there's a difference) skin, and i'd like to keep it that way.

but as far as how it looks, i'd say a natural tan.

There's so many girls in my school with fake tans that make them look orange and then they still put on bronzer which makes them look like they've been wrestling in dirt all day.

Natural tans. They may take longer, but they probably stay longer, too.
There was this girl who got a fake tan (and everyone could tell - she was ORANGE) at my school and it was funny because this guy came up to her and asked her about it. She was acting all casual and pulled up her pant legs to show him.

Besides, even the most expensive self-tanners will still turn you orange.

^agreed and i agree with the oompa loompa thing, tons of girls i went to high school with used the fake tans and it looked so akward and gross and they were all orange it was funny. this one girl was always orange...even in summer because she'd still use it eek.gif

Neither. If you go for a fake tan, that looks so disgusting and it can turn out pretty badly, and if you go to the beach and lie there half naked for a couple of hours, it increases your risk of skin cancer.

Actually I heard that happens with tanning salons too, but I'm not too sure.

Tanning salons with beds use the same basis of natural tanning, in that UV rays are involved. UV rays, while they give you that nice tan, are the things that can cause skin cancer. Tanning salons = no-no.

Personally, I have a natural tan and I don't really desire anything darker than what I already have, but I'm pretty concerned about my skin. If I were obsessed with tanning, I'd definitely stick to some self-tanner to enhance my glow rather than absorbing in harmful UV rays.
