The Layout
Okay. So this guy messages me and says.... QUOTE Hey rachael... an idea just came to me. I was casted for a video game show that fox and direct TV is shooting Weds-Sunday. They're flying me out to California tomorrow and I'm one of the spotlight gamers who will be showcased in the show. They'll be putting my myspace url on tv as part of my profile and there's a good chance theyll even show my page (along with the url) on screen. One of the coaches for the event saw my page and loved it. He liked it so much he had me do his page. They haven't told me how soon it's going to air but there will be a lot of media coverage on it. *..............(layout details.....).......* Maybe even the same format as the new pirates one-- box on left, box on right, comments on bottom. Then with your crazy artistic eye; I'll be off myspace from now till sunday (when shooting is done) so theres no HUGE rush if you can do it. But just an idea- HOly Freakin AWESOME! So I want it to be the best possible. I've included everything he could possibly want and the things that he specified. Where I need your help is the graphic design. Critique please. EDIT: 7/20/06 Update! (forgive his hotel's wireless keyboard).. I editted some of his text QUOTE OKAY>! first off>> tHIS PRrodction is going to be a lot huger than we talked about [*other stuff*] I met with the producers yesterday and they areseiously going for the mass market! 2nd... I just saw the layout and I think I'm actually going to mention you to him when I chat with him today. I think myspace has a part in this whole poduction-when Iarrived, they handed me agift bag with over $300 worth of stuf in it and the myspace issue of Wired magazine was part of it. Sorry if some of the words come ot eird in this email- the keyboard is not the best but I'm laying in bed surfing off tv so im not complaining. But ye---LOVE the layout- this is prob the last time I'll be on myspace till monday cuz they are taking me to the set today and I've got a full schedule from here on out. But the producer and event directors will flip when they see that layout--- more later!! Thanx again rach--- ur awesome!
