well, ive been reading a little about it. because i recently noticed that a bunch of stores have been stocking up on tons of skinny jeans. are they seriously only for super skinny people? i'm not fat, but i'm not skinny. i've just got muscular legs. & i wish i could wear those. is it possible in wearing them without looking huge? _unsure.gif

I've never really worn skinny jeans, so I don't have an opinion on them.
But try them on and see how it looks.

There are a lot of people out there who wish they could wear certain things but can't because of how their bodies are formed. But I say, work with what you have. _smile.gif

when i first saw them i was like "ew...those look stupid." but then i saw them on people that wore them the right way. so i found a pair on sale and got them. and i like them a lot. but answering your question, i don't think you have to be super skinny to wear them...but you should be in shape. and don't wear them with big shoes. especially etnies or something. wear them with little flats or something, otherwise for some reason your feet look really big.

but try them on and see how YOU like them. skinny jeans are definately something you need to try on.

I have the same problem. People with muscular legs or big hips shouldn't wear the skin tight ones.

skinny jeans, are they right for anybody?

They're right for 6 foot tall, size 2 models. But you know, they're not really people, so no, skinny jeans aren't right for anybody.

(if you didn't catch my sarcasm, I realize that 6 foot tall, size 2 models are people, so please don't be offended).

in my opinion, only skinny people should wear them. nobody else looks right in them. i'm not exactly obese, or skinny and i tried them on before.. i feel like they look weird on me

i think if they're cut the right way, they should look fine. but it also depends on what top and shoes you wear with them. like colleen92, chunky shoes make your feet look big. you should maybe wear a long coat or thick sweater with skinny jeans, like this

As with most types of clothing, skinny jeans do look better on some people than on others. I think that they are cute; too bad I have big hips.

you can look good in skinny jeans if you buy the right pair. i have muscular legs and i have a pair.

this reminds me of when i had an issue with leggings [for under the skirt] i used to think i looked horrible in leggings, attributed to my humongous calves (same reason why i was scared of skinny jeans), but i made myself a pair and now im addicted to them.

Gonna be honest, I had never heard of them until now. Huh. O_o I'll have to try them on and see if it looks any different from my normal jeans, because right now I'm not seeing much of a difference.

Recently, it seems as if every girl in my school have been getting them. the only difference is that they're more narrow and skin tight towards the bottom. They're nice as 'one and only' said, when they're put together with a pair of heels. But I don't like the way they look with sneakers and stuff. And, these skinny jeans, I don't think they're only meant for skinny people. I've seen people who aren't very skinny where them.

if you have fat legs, don't get them.
if you are a fat ass, don't get them.
you'll look bad in them.
why would you get something that looks bad on you.
and don't get those cheap fake stuff from like G+G.
if you get skinny jeans get the classy ones from 7 for all Mankind, etc.
they are the best. i got one myself and its my fave. I recently got another one from Diesel but its not as good quality and its expensive so don't get your skinny jeans fom diesel.

Skinny jeans, are basically stretchy pencil shaped type jeans. haha
yeah they're meant to be worn by everyone who likes the style and knows how to dress them up.

So:
if your body type is sort of on the larger side, (but this works on all body types)
Bottom:
Skinny Jeans, but a darker wash, not a light wash!
Top:
Those tunic (you know the extra long shirts, etc?) sweaters/shirts are in, soo wear those, which will help cover up some larger areas on the lower body areas, making you have an A-LiNE shape.
Shoes:
Flats or heals work best! like everyone said sneakers look hideous or don't look right!
Accesories:
a skinny belt around your natural waste line, or a thick belt, below the belly button for an elongated torso.

soo yeah .
haha i have a pair, and i Sort of like them happy.gif

Honestly I think they only look good on people with thin legs. I saw a girl wearing them & she had larger legs, it looked kinda bad on her _unsure.gif. Skinny jeans are cute though, if you can pull it off _smile.gif.

I think they look rediculous on me... like Jackie said, girls with curves and hips shouldn't wear them. They're not flattering at all on curvy girls, so there's a trend I'll never get experience ermm.gif
