I've been looking through some hosting sites to see if I can get a better deal for my money than what I'm paying. In a lot of the sites I've been to I've see some really good deals but some of them are listed as shared hosting, so I wanted to know what is the difference between regular hosting plans and shared hosting plans?

Nothing, all hosting is done on a server, which means people that order the same plan as you do get hosted on the same server as you do. Shared and Regular hosting are the exact same thing. There are four kinds of hosting, Shared Hosting, Virtual Private Server Hosting, Dedicated Server Hosting, and Collocation Hosting.
