I haven't posted here in a year.

A few weeks ago my dad bought the Chronicles of Narina on pay per veiw so I tivoed (is that a word).
and I don't get mtv or even cnn (goodbye lc and anderson cooper 360!) so I just watch the the chronicles of narina on constant repeat everyday. as in three times a day. it's not even my favourite movie, I just always feel compelled to watch it. I'm obviously possessed. I'm watching it right now. It's at the boring part where Lucy firsts enters Narina. I don't get bored with it, I just always have it on until my mom comes home, she changes the channel :(
perhaps I need a hobby or more friends

Do you think if I watch it enough times I'll be able to pick up an english accent?

possibly there is some kind of patch for this?

it seems unlikely that you will develop an accent. it took me several months of actually living here, so a few movies will be ineffective

Hahaha, that's funny. I do that with my DVDs sometimes, just watch them over and over again...

It might take a while for you to develop that English accent. Maybe you'd just have to watch it over and over again for a couple of months. mellow.gif

And btw, I remember you. :] Welcome back.

hah. in like fifth grade when we read the books a whole bunch of kids brought some in.

It's like jello coated in sugar, right?

I thought it was disgustingly sweet.

The only time I had turkish delight that tasted good was when my 4th grade teacher made it. That was good, everytime someone else made it it tasted gross. I'll stick to puppychow.

Oh yeah! I love that movie. My favorite part was when the battle begins. The boy Peter is cute..

The sad part that kind of made me cry was when Aslan agreed to actually get killed by the White Witch. That part made me cry. His fur got shaved off and stuff, and then the White Witch killed him with sharp object or something. Don't remember..

I don't have the DVD, but I wish. I saw it for the first time on pay-per-view too. rolleyes.gif
It was a nice movie though.

I'm addicted to Harry Potter.
I have all the DVDs and can't stop watching them. I know how you feel. But instead I actually love the movies.

Yeah. Look at my sister... well if you see her in real-life.

She can't stop with the English accent -_-; she IMPROVED SO MUCH after watching harry potter so much..... like seriously good.

I envy her =P

So yeah if you keep watching it, I think you'll get to the English accent. I think my English accent is working. I THINK I THINK!!

They're actually doing all of the books, but the four kids in the first (as readers of the series know) are only in the first and second book. Wow it's been ages since I read them. blink.gif Maybe I should go get to doing that. Hrm. Ew. And I always wanted to try Turkish Delight... maybe I should think twice about that. Ahh. English accents. Jude Law. dribble.gif Now I want to go watch Gattaca twenty bajillion times.
