That is me. Normally, I am not one to self-loath. However, as of currently, I have been feeling, well, ugly. I am wondering as to whether or not anyone has any advice for something that I could do to change my appearance? Anything that you guys think would make me look better, honestly? I am not talking drastic, I am speaking along the lines of a new hairstyle, a tan [A real one, though. Orange is not my color.], etc.

Maybe make your eyebrows a tiny bit neater. Use some warm colors to bring out your eyes (they are gorgeous) Maybe add some layers and warmer highlights to your hair? Just a few suggestions.

You are very pretty though

You have such a nice eye color. Make them pop with some makeup. You can always go to the mall & ask some of the make up artists for tips.

Get your eyebrows done. They always bring out your eyes as well.

Get a couple layers in your hair, I think your color is fine.

Thank-you for the replies, everyone! You all mentioned things that I was thinking of doing . . . I dislike my eyebrows, and I want to get them done really bad. However, I think I should get them done by a professional as they are very thick [thank God I do not have uni-brow! I lucked out!] and I do not want to end up with tiny lines or anything of that nature. That is ugly. I also think I should start wearing makeup, and I think I should get some more layers in my hair. I have some now, but they are longer, and you really cannot tell in that particular photograph.

Yeah, don't pluck your own eyebrows. Go get them done. They usually ren't too expensive. Some go from 5- 12 dollars.

Yeah, that is a great advantage. I like your eyebrows, judging from the photograph of yourself in your signature. I have a question, though . . . . when you go to get yours done, do you tell them you want any sort of style, or do they just do what they would feel to look best, by looking at what you have?

Haha thanks.

Usually they ask you if you want them more on the thin side or on the thick side. I usually ask for thicker because I'm scared. lol Usually, they not the shape they need to make.

I actually think you're very pretty, you have very healthy-looking hair. What everyone else has suggested sounds great.

What do you normally wear? Sounds like a weird question, but you wouldn't believe how much clothing can change a person's appearance.

I love your eyes! They're such a nice blue.

I would definitely recommend that you get your eyebrows done. They would really look nicer if they were thinner.

Your hair looks really nice the way it is. It's nice, straight, and healthy.

Perhaps you should use some eyeliner, curl your eye lashes, and also add some mascara to bring out your eyes.

No, it does not sound like a weird question. _smile.gif.

Normally I wear a mixture of skirts, jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, graphic tee's, capris, shorts, jackets, hoodies, things of that nature.

I think my eyebrows are the biggest thing too. They're . . . . too bushy?

How about my skin? Do you guys see any blemishes or anything that needs clearing up? I personally do not, but I am just wondering if you guys do?

Also, thank you for all of the advice, and for all of the nice comments! I really appreciate it, and you guys are totally helping me out! *HUGS*

Your face looks fine to me, but if you happen to have any redness, then maybe you should wear foundation or something.

No, I do not have any redness. Which, speaking of foundation, what kind of makeup could I wear? Mascara eyeliner, lip balm/lip gloss/chapstick, and eyeshadow seem good to me. I want color, yet I want to look clean. Perhaps blush?

Hrmm..well, ppls have commented on make up.

I think ur hair should have a little more volume in it.
Or else cut it in layers....... or even get bangs / fringe.

Don't add blush, I recommend using Clean & Clear's Morning Glow moisterisor~ it gives ur face a natural glow~ I like it!

Last but not least! Smile & say cheeeeeeeeese!! ^__^

change your eyebrows, idk get a whole new hair style too.
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not being rude at all. I'm just listing things that people would find different if you did a change to them, get a hair cut that shapes your face better then the normal straight hair.

Do not worry, I am not taking this or any of the other comments the wrong way. I know that you are all giving me advice, as I had asked for. Also, everything you guys are saying are things I was thinking of myself! So, we are ALL on the SAME page.

Oh, I was thinking about side bangs as well. All-in-all I am going to start wearing makeup, I will be getting my eyebrows waxed, and I will get side bangs as long as layers in my hair.

I'd say go with a light blonde with your hair.

You could do highlights or just the whole thing.

For a haircut I suggest to keep the length and redo the long layers in to give it more shape.

Thinner eye brows but not to thin, you don't want to look like a skank _smile.gif

If you do decide to make changes please put up a photo! I like to see before & afters!

Since you're light skinned and have light colored eyes .. use brown eyeliner & brown mascara. That way, you won't look super heavy & you'll look NATURAL.

Thank-you, I never thought of that. You are darker than I, so this may not carry any relevance, but do you use brown or black mascara/eyeliner?

I am not having any trouble with guys at all. Guys talk to me all the time. However, I am not making simple changes for any guys. I am doing this for myself. I feel that if people change themselves for someone else, they are making that decision in vein. This is for me, and for me alone. I am not setting out to please anyone but myself. If someone dislikes the way I look, then, they can simply turn the other way. _smile.gif.

Also, about the hair coloring bit, I am going to leave my hair color as is. I like my hair color, and I wish not to change it. I think any other color would look odd on me. Although, I have considered highlights before. Nevertheless, I decided against them as it can get costly, as well as a pain in the butt. I suppose I feel that if I were meant to have lighter colored hair, then, I would have been born with it. God must want me to have light brown hair, or otherwise, I would have been born a blonde or something of the sort.

instead of hiring a professional for your eyebrowns. why dont you just ... pluck it with the plucker ? It'll save you a lot of $$$$$$$$$$. it's very time consuming.

I've seen people use THIS to make sutle changes to their hair without dye and it's cheap.

I love that you said that, really. thumbsup.gif

Oh & I use black eyeliner & black mascara. Sometimes I use brown mascara because black makes me look havy since I already have the brown. I use black though because I have REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY dark brown eyes.

Maybe your eyebrows could get a trim, not a lot, just subtle to make it look more neat. Get some highlights, and a new haircut. Girls with their hair to the side is really flattering to most. And try wearing some blush and eyeliner. + Lipgloss thumbsup.gif But remember to keep it subtle the whole time, and go along the tones of peach or pink in make up.

Um. Maybe pluck your eyebrows a little? A tad of makeup? Not too much. Highlights in hair? Maybe some earrings? (If you have your ears pierced)
