This is kind of random, but have you ever like been chewing on food- like a chocolate chip for instence- and then like all of a sudden choked on it. But then you quickly revive yourself and just go back to scarfing them down like nothing ever happened. I don't know it's kind of more dramatic then that. It's like just going back to eatting something that almost killed you... haha. I dunno. So has this ever happened to any of you? :]

^LOL

Actually, that's never happened to me. I'm surprised, becuase I'm kind of accident prone and that just seems like the kind of thing that I'd end up doing.

That happens when I drink sometimes. And when I eat. It hurts trying to cough it back up. Blah.

Oh man, similarly, I'm scared of drowning. Choking would be pretty bad, too, especially if there was no one around that knew how to help you. I remember when they taught us that stuff in like elementary school, I was terrified.

Then again, I was terrified when they told us "what to do if a stranger knocks on the door when you're home alone" too.

YEAH. They taught me how to save yourself. Some guy at school said he saved himself once. I was like omg.gif I'd probably bang the heck out of my stomach at the moment & not do it right cus I'd be too nervous.

Oh & drowning .. I can't swim. So scared of drowning.

Shit man.

Hahaha. If you ever do choke and there's no one to save you, take the edge of the back of a chair, position it slightly above your gut, and run as fast as you can into a wall.

Sounds crazy, I know. _smile.gif

Are you serious? Haha, I honestly don't think I'd be able to do that, I would always wimp out and slow down before getting to the wall.. XD.gif We were taught to lean on the chair with our stomachs and put all our weight on the back in kind of short bursts..

I do choke on drinks a lot, I hadn't thought about that.

Sounds like you're pretty much screwed, Lorena. Btw, Your new siggy is purttttttty. Lol.

As for me, I chew my food very little. I feel it keeps the taste more in the food and outta my teeth. I like it all to be together, because if it comes apart, it loses taste. Unless its something like... that has cream filling. MMMMMMMMMMMMM

My little sister has this problem... she doesn't chew enough or whatever, and she always chokes. Sometimes she even has to goto the bathroom and throw-up because she's choking so much. She's gotten better though. She doesn't vomit anymore. Now she just chokes.
