I don't think it makes a difference.

Unless you weight like half a ton.

"She wore an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka-dot bikini, that she wore for the first time today."

---

Would they be laying still in the water or fretting about at the worry of drowning?
Really, there are a lot of factors to consider. I think they'd float pretty much the same though, despite the difference in weight..

There are way too many factors here to give an answer. I don't think it should make a real difference in most conditions.

Fat person, considering the fat is fat. I mean, JEEZUSSS have you seen dem adipose cells? Then compare them to muscle cells.

I went to the beach today, and the waves were pretty bad, real choopy. =/ and my dads girlfriend has this son and hes a little over weight and weighs like 80lbs and I had to keep lifting him because he doesn't seem to float 0_O
So yea I say a skinny person.

yea i know,
The more body fat you have the more you will float. Believe me I know. But I was leaving that as a example that it seems sometimes that fat people that do have plenty of body fat don't exactly float.

Not many people float at the beach, anyway. So that's not a very good example.

I don't think your fat friend couldn't have made it out that far anyway. Or did he?

a fat person's dead body will float better than a skiny person's dead body.

a skinny person, however, is more capable of keeping thier head above water and thus less likely to drown.

I think a fat persno would have part of their body suspended in water, but probably part (like the face) in the surface D:
