Would anyone object to an art subforum under Interests? It would be different than Digital Art or Pictures. I guess anything related to art-digital, photography, painting, drawing, films, would fit. No showcasing, just discussion I guess; we'll see if this is carried through. Feel free to post any suggestions/questions.

Oh.
 Well, when I proposed this, I was thinking showcasing as well - but not Digital Art, since we have a place for that. Just more of traditional art, as well as in-depth discussions and introduction to a lot of underground artists...Etc. etc.... But it's ok either way.

You already know I am in full support of this, it'd be nice for people to have a more specific place to showcase sketches, etc.
 But I like the idea of having a place to discuss art in general, anyway.

I love this idea.
I would be very happy to start talking about film on a higher level or more in-depth, at least. The entertainment forum tends to drown alot of more interesting threads under The Fast and The Furious. Not cool. I'm up, down, and would participate heavily in this subforum.

Hey now, there's nothing uncool about The Fast and the Furious.
I get what is being said about actual discussion of film, of course; but hey, sometimes film has to be fun, too.  I think an Art subforum is a good idea. I'm with mona's original idea of no showcasing, though, since for most forms of art (visual, writing, digital) we already do have forums for showcasing the work. |
