I really love this. It looks exactly like something you'd make; I love the colours and how the images are arranged. The flowers are lovely. Plus, you can never go wrong with pictures of Julia Stegner and Death Cab for Cutie lyrics!

------------------ I really really love your layout, I think you did a wonderful job on it. Only little things I have to comment on are that the background and image aren't exactly aligned correctly, just like... 1 or 2 pixels off. Also, the blog is alllll the way at the top of the page in firefox, and not the correct width. It spills out over the right side about 10 pixels. That's it though, it's very lovely. I really like the colours you chose. |

ok i like that you can tell that you did it all yourself thats great. the things i dont like about this layout is that it seems to busy towards the top and bland at the bottom. i like things like that at times. but there just seems to be no ballence.

Hmmm...well first of all the work done is nice. Im not here to criticize your talents as an artist in your own repsect. But I do have to admit that the scene up at the top is a bit chaotic for me, I think that there needs to be some balance in the sereneness and the chaos in a layout. I don't really find it in this one. Although I do admit that the colors are very soothing and well chosen. But yet again this goes according to taste. But good stuff no doubt about that.

As far as graphics go, its spiffy as can be. Usability is another issue, the blog is off in jabib-land when loaded in safari & firefox. My other issue with it is the size of the header. Its lovely, but massive! A user in 800x600 resolution would see nothing but header when they load the page.
Love the design, dislike the execution. |
