I was wondering what the youngest age was when you were supposed to make out with someone. My mom is totally stuck in the 60's where guys walk you to your steps and then leave ((no kissing)) you should get your first kiss when you're 18 yrs old. You should lose your virginity at 20 and then between 18-20 you can make out with boys. But only if you truley love them.

however, I've kissed, hugged, held hands with, made out, and been groped by guys before and I'm only 13. Does this make me a slut/whore? Because I don't wish to be...frankly, I don't think anyone does.

The ages your mom gave aren't that bad. Losing your virginity at 20 is better than waiting until marriage which usually never happens at 20. Your first kiss should happen when you're younger than 18. The making out thing isn't so bad but you shouldn't be making out with random guys, so there has to be some form of attachment.

It doesn't necessarily make you a slut or a whore but it's not exactly good... You're only 13, why are you getting groped by guys? I was 14 and in my opinion, that's pretty bad...but then again, it was only one guy, not "guys."

The things your mom advised is a pretty good idea. But just because you did all that, doesn't mean that you're a slut. Unless, (like Chii said) you made out with random guys. If you're comfortable with the person and ready, then it shouldn't be bad.

I don't think that the ages that your mom gave is all that bad. As for your question...no I don't think that you're a slut/whore...but to me, making out and being groped at 13..is...kinda pushing the lines a bit. But that's just me. Holding hands is fine and kissing is fine too.

I am 18 years old. I have been in love, I have fallen out of love, and I have made out with people. When you hit college, all of those things that your parents told you about how not to have sex and etc really come into light and you realize that some of the stuff that they said was true and some of it was a complete lie.

In these days, sex is everywhere. Your parents tell you not to do it till you are in love because if you sleep around, you will be called horrible names. I know girls in my area who have been with at least 4 or 5 guys. I know girls who have gone to drunken parties and had sex with random guys and don't even remember there names. This is actually becoming socially acceptable.

This is my thought: Yeah, sex is great, but wouldn't it be better to wait for the experience and do it with someone who will truely care about you in the morning? So sex and all of that stuff is acceptable now among many people of your age, but wouldn't you like to do it with someone who cares about you with all of your heart? A person who will wake up with you in the morning and not have to throw their pants on and run out the door, but a person who will smile, kiss your hands, and thank you for sharing a passionate moment?

I guess this is just me and my old romance films talking. The old black and white ones....

It's just funny when people rush into things...when you have so much more time to live. If you've been making out with people since you were 13..how special is it going to be when you get older and get into more serious relationships?

don't get phisically attached to a person you're not serious about. it only makes things worse when you break up. This doesn't mean you don't have a little fun. Just make sure you have to right mind set.
