terrible shame that it doesn't look so well off on Firefox :(. other than that, very nice job! and yeah, good idea to align the music player (though I'm too lazy to dig through your code and figure out how, sorry...shouldn't be too hard). Simple and clean.

very techy. i like it. kinda bland, but that's okay. you fixed all the problems i could see, except you could get rid of the left/right scrollbar. but besides that great job!!

Alright, since most of you guys use low resolutions, I fixed it using a 1024x768 res. So yeah, best viewed on IE 1024x768.

I miss viewing my ms on 1280x1024, everything was so much clear.

Hmmm...how come my mp3 player won't stay with the layout itself like the links I made? No matter what resolution I use, the links stay alligned with the layout but mp3 player doesn't.

How do you put youtube vids on a div layout. I tried it, it messed up my whole allignment.

Wow, I like it a lot. It looks perfect in 1024x798 (lol whatever that resolution is) in Mozilla Firefox.

thumbsup.gif

Oh, btw, the comment box is a little too big for the div it's in.

I'm using 1024 x 768. It looks fine in FIREFOX but the music player is off, and the comment is to big for the div.

But then, in IE, it's absolutely positioned at the right spot. Everything's perfect.

I love ur layout. Very techy look.

Music player is misaligned in Firefox and in IE but my resolution is 1280x1024.

In Firefox each one of your images has a border around it. I looked at your HTML a bit and in your img src you put border:000000 0px solid;

Firefox does not read that correctly and therefore puts a border.

A simple border=0 within the after the src quotations would work in both browsers. Here's a screenshot:

i like it, but you need to get rid of picture link borders and then fix the comment box size, and im not sure what the white box is on the right, but i love the concept and look.

Alright, I fixed the border thingy for firefox. On 1280x1024 resolution, there's a white box on the right, I don't know what that is. For the music player being misalligned on a different resolution other than 1078x768, I don't know how to fix that. I don't understand why it moves unlike the links I made. And for the comment box, it looks different on IE and FF.

i think if you center align the background your using and do a little adjusting it will look fine in most resolutions.

i changed the resolution on my screen a few times to make sure my layout looked right in all resolutions.

He could attempt to use a % instead of a absolute value for aligning everything but then he'd have to edit absolutely everything, including the graphics. The problem is actually the Myspace layout itself and not the background. The background just isn't covering the entire Myspace layout so what people on the right are seeing is the layout as it would normally look like.

If he wants to fix that he can edit the background image:
http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/6623/tek4el.gif
as it's 800x600 and make the width wider. The problem with this is that smaller resolutions will then have a horizontal scroll bar.

I'd say leave everything as is. It looks fine even under higher resolutions.

for position I put center instead of absolute and it messed up my links. I tried to put <center></center> code but it looked the same.

Hey, you were in the chat, right? I remember seeing a link to this in there a while back. xLiquid xIce, right?

Anyway, it looks nice. It works for my computer now. It really doesn't do anything weird except that the player shifts over when you resize the window, but it should really work for almost anyone's screen.

Is it that white box? If that's what you are talking about, I have no idea what that is.

It's one of the table's from the original Myspace layout. Your overlay is only covering, not hiding. Try putting this in your style:
CODE
table table table td {visibility:hidden;}

Not sure which part of the layout which is showing otherwise I'd know which code it would be. Try a variation of things like
CODE
table, td {visibility: hidden;}

It's one of the tables that's coming out. Keep in mind if you're using tables in your current layout you'll have to give them a new class.

I'm not really familiar when it comes to working with tables and classes. I didn't really understand the code you provided but I'll play with it and see what's up.

Alright, I fixed everything. Best viewed on 1024x800 Firefox. On different resolutions, the mp3 wont be alligned (idk how to make it stay) and the main layout wont be centered but it still looks okay.
